Degree: Curriculum & Instruction

Completed online Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction in about 18 months. Classes are well structured and fit well while teaching full time. Instructors are all working in their respective field of expertise and found the lessons and research easily transferable to my own day to day classroom teaching.

A rigorous program that requires a huge amount of course work, with a strong focus on collaboration and project based learning. Tuition is excellent as are the professors. If you're looking for a cheap, quick and easy pathway to an M.Ed., look elsewhere.

I enjoyed every aspect of this master's program. It was a good balance from week to week of self-paced learning as well as interaction with peers and instructors. I found the professors and the college staff to be accessible and eager to help where needed. Each class provided interesting perspectives, and I learned a good amount in each. Each class followed the same rhythm week to week in terms of what was due when. Classes were challenging with a full paper required every week along with other assignments,... Read More

I chose this school because of their cheap tuition. Well, I guess what they say is true, "You get what you pay for." This online school is very new and seems to be still trying to figure out how to be successful. The quality of education is poor, with a great deal of work required in order to graduate. Communications with faculty take days. They offer no financial aid. My recommendation is enroll in a more established, respectable online school and use financial aid to offset the cost difference.... Read More

I am halfway through my program at ACE, and find it to be both extremely useful, and affordable. The lessons have honestly had a great impact on my teaching and make me think about how I can improve my teaching/classroom. The professors have been helpful and provide feedback each week through discussions, or for my weekly research papers. I am not sure about the other programs, but the M.Ed programs are very helpful, and although challenging, I am able to do the work along with working full time... Read More

If you need a totally accessible, friendly, amazing degree, this is the place. I have never had instructors that were so helpful, interested, and knowledgeable in one place. The work is balanced. I love that we had no books to purchase, and we used current everything! The price cannot be beat, especially for what you receive in return. Look no further for a great place for your next degree. ACE is the best!

I will be graduating with my Masters in February. Ace has provided a rigorous and challenging program. The classes are five weeks long and require one discussion post, two responses, 4-5 readings, a quiz and a long paper per week. The predictable format made it much easier to anticipate time needed to work around teaching full-time and having a young child. It is a challenging program but possible while maintaining work and family balance. Also, the price is unbeatable. I will be starting the dual... Read More

Degree: Curriculum & Instruction

This is my third online schooling experience as an adult. When I first switched my career path from business to education, I even went through alternative teaching certification program online. This school is by far the best online education experience I have received so far. The instruction and curriculum is excellent considering how affordable the tuition is. I have been able to pay for classes as I go which has been great as I do not need to accumulate any additional student loan debt. Every time... Read More

I am currently enrolled in American College of Education 's Curriculum and Instruction Program. Thus far, the program has provided me with an avenue to reflect on my current teaching practices and provided research based practices to help improve my teaching approach as well. The professors and class content have also increased my awareness of the ever changing teaching environment and how to continue to help the needs of my students. The program has helped me implement several teaching strategies... Read More

The classes were rigorous and informative. I loved being able to complete my master's degree from home since I had just had a baby. It was well laid out, expectations were clear, and it was extremely organized. If I had the choice again, I would definitely do the same thing.
