Expensive, but it worked out for me. I made lasting friendships, got my first job at the university, and learned a lot.

American University is one of the few schools in the Washington DC area that offer a degree in Taxation. It is highly rated by the Big Four companies in the region so for career outlook, it is great. However, the classes offering are quite limited.

One of the best Taxation programs in the Country. The program offers lots of useful insight on the area. All professor are currently practicing partners in their field of teaching, and all are very successful.

Great people. Small program where everyone knows everyone. Cons: not many recruiters because Kogod has small MBA program, MBA program not ranked which makes it tougher to compete with other schools
