Although I had an excellent experience attending Arizona State University, I have not been able to succeed within the job market based on my degree. While this experience does not reflect the university's merit, I do have some regrets about pursuing a degree before securing a job or career path.

During my time at ASU, my degree allowed me to take courses that made me feel extremely prepared to enter into my field of work. I also worked under stellar professors that would provide crucial feedback to the way that I apply the skills that I was learning in class. I am grateful for my time at ASU because I believe that I am more prepared than most students in my major from other schools. I received many performance and educational opportunities because of the way the faculty is connected with... Read More

I was able to have an In person schooling for Undergrad and online schooling for my Graduate course. Bothe are unique experiences. I would recommend, if you can, to do university in person. Teachers are very open to having you reach out to them for any class problems or will reach out to you if something isn't going well. The advisors are also very helpful through out the year, so don't be afraid to talk with them whenever they check in to see your progress. You have acess to an amazing online library... Read More

Arizona State University Online is very good at structuring online courses and making them accessible and understandable. I was not very used to online courses before but I think I have adapted well to them. The course content is laid out in a way that is easy to follow.

Even though I attend online, the instructions and classes are high quality, and use rigorous exams to make sure students are learning. It has a good degree selection to choose from, and there are many different paths, online, in person, and hybrid. There have several contact points so you can always get help with college when need.

My time at ASU was really fun. It was a important time for my career and personal development. I learned a lot, received real-world experience, and developed skills there that helped me deal with the demands of the real world. ASU offered a great learning atmosphere that pushed me to grow as a person, gain confidence, and get a good work ethic. My professional life was significantly influenced by the relationships I had with classmates and teachers. I really feel that my current position was made... Read More

Arizona State University was an interesting experience for me. I appreciated the professors I had in person for my courses. I loved how accessible things were for me on campus. I did not like how the finances were dealt with by my school and how hard it was to afford my education.

Arizona State University was convenient and accessible for my time and place in life. It's class structure really means that it is what you make of it, and you can get as much or little out of the courses as you desire. I was able to get my degree while still working full-time and taking care of a family which was important to me.

I enjoyed attending ASU online, it allowed me to continue working full time and allowed me to gain an independence. It taught me discipline being in an online format due to having to submit assignments online but also complete them in my free time outside of having a full time job. I didn’t have a traditional college experience of interacting with other college students on a daily basis which I think forced me to step into a more “grown” and mature role in my personal and work life

You truly get out of asu what you put into it. There are so many options and resources available to students, but the work has to be done to seek them out. Especially for biological sciences, the staff is incredible but have to be actively engaged with to ultimately get out as much as possible.

ASU, either on-campus or online, has so many opportunities. I’ve always said that ASU is what you make of it. If you’re serious about academics, you can have a strong academic career. If you’re an athlete, you can have a successful athletic career. If you’re more middle of the road, like I was, it’s a wonderful place to gain experience, not just academically, but also work wise. At the downtown in Tempe campuses especially, there are so many opportunities, events, professors, and other students from... Read More

ASU is great if you obtained a similar degree in architecture or design from ASU. I struggled to complete my graduate studies here, as my undergraduate studies were very practical. ASU follows a very conceptual plan of study, which doesn't help much when you are out in the real world. I felt that most of the project work tended to be "fantastical" and less practical - like designing a floating library.

I also don't agree with the programs that we implement. Rhino is not a reputable program that most... Read More

On the bright side, however, some of the professors are working at the biggest and best firms in the world, like Morphosis, or big award-winning "first-time doing this in their ethnic group" kind of licensed architects. That can be great for networking, as I mentioned before.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with ASU online. I personally loved the 7.5 week classes, although they did become overwhelming at times. Some of the assignments were very meticulous and very time consuming but I was pushed to do my best work. I would absolutely do my schooling here again if needed.

Arizona State University was a great place for me as a non-traditional student, and I’m grateful for the experience. I earned my two bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology in 2021, and then I finished my master’s in psychology in 2023. I never felt out of place going back to college later in life. There were plenty of students who came from different backgrounds and were juggling work, family, or career changes, so it felt like a place where I didn't stand out.

The psychology and sociology... Read More

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!! If you are looking for an online university, look anywhere else. They will jack up tuition every single year for online students just for you to watch pre-recorded lectures by professors that aren't even your professor. Youtube videos, discussion posts that people half-ass write or use Chat-GTP. It's probably no different from any other online university, but it's WAY MORE EXPENSIVE. It is NOT worth it. I am a first generation student, I can't even attend my own graduation,... Read More

Great school, should have done this years ago. Program was straight to the point. The professors obviously know exactly what they are talking about. I had a coach that guided me to answers for any questions I had. The school offers many opportunities for support , especially the psychology workshops and the writing center. I got out what I put in. Overall A+ experience. I applied to the masters program.

Some of the faculty were outstanding, particularly in the beginning of the program, and the subject matter was provocative. That said, I was heartily disappointed. World War II history has been a life-long passion, but much of the program focused upon topics that were only tangentially relevant. Additionally, the curriculum requires that students be comfortable with non-traditional media (e.g. podcasts instead of narrative), which I was totally unprepared for. Furthermore, the workload was substantial... Read More

I think as others have mentioned, if you're looking to really LEARN stuff, you're probably better off seeking out YouTube videos or Udemy classes. If what you seek is a diploma or certificate, then you can pay $1500 per course and get it if you're willing to work through the poorly written assignments, poorly edited lecture videos, and overly pedantic test questions. I was hoping for something approaching my experience as an in-person undergraduate at a different state school, however these classes... Read More

I am extremely dissatisfied in the ASU nursing program. I hope this review finds students who are interested in this program because the best advice I can give is to spend your money elsewhere.
