Potential employers that I have spoken with choose Asbury education graduates over all others in Central Kentucky. Asbury University was a great place where every student will learn and grow. The University constantly provides student activities and a place for a strong sense of community. My life has been forever impacted for the better because of Asbury University and it is an experience that has allowed me to grow as an individual. The professors work with each student to help them succeed and reach their maximum potential. It is a community with wonderful people and great educational programs.

Asbury was a good school, but not great. I found that the professors are what made the experience enjoyable for me. They were very knowledgeable and held their students to a higher standard pushing them to their greatest potential. The only things that I didn't enjoy about the school was the lack of campus wide activities, lack of opportunities to connect with local businesses, and out dated facilities. I left having an excellent education that has set me up for success in the future, but besides... Read More

Asbury University was a great place to study. I came to Asbury in 2012 as an international student from Liberia and I loved the community environment. My professors were very helpful with my transition. The school has a very active student congress (Student government) and give students several opportunities to be a part of the growth and learning experience. I was a member of the school's Institutional Review Committee as well as member of the growing international student group. I graduated in... Read More

Asbury University is an excellent higher education institution. If you are searching for a University that values not only your educational growth but your spiritual and personal growth as well, this is the place for you! I received great support from this University, and I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to study in the Adult Professional Studies online degree program. Every professor was very helpful, empathetic, and knowledgeable in their respective fields.

My time at Asbury University remains to be one of the biggest influences in my life. I grew as a scholar, a minister, and a believer during my time there. The Christian ministries program was incredible. In fact, as a current seminarian, I can proudly say that Asbury more than prepared me for ministry and for future study at the graduate level. The only down sides were fairly strict rules with regard to student life, and very little diversity on campus.

Thoroughly impressed for the entire four years that I attended. Even afterwards, I'm still getting job offers from my department. It's as if they prepare you to succeed in the real-world before, during, and after your time. Can't say enough good things about the Communication Arts department.

Asbury University has many programs, and all are incredibly staffed. The faculty have life experience in addition to their education, which creates a more authentic learning experience for the students. The Equine Program is continually growing and improving--this was happening while I was in school, and I've seen it continue to happen since I have graduated. Improvements are always being made--to the facilities and bringing in new faculty with different skill sets. It is a great program that is... Read More

I really enjoy being able to take my classes online! Asbury has been helpful to me in my pursuit of my degrees in Spanish K-12 and ESL K-12. I do feel, however, that the faculty needs to embrace the "online community" idea a little more and realize that online students cannot come to campus to meet, nor utilize the library on campus, nor drop by to drop off papers. This has been my biggest struggle so far! However, overall, my first year has been a good experience!

Asbury's MSW program is small, so you get individualized attention and contact with the very experienced and helpful professors. It is priced competitively with MSW programs at public universities, although it is a private school. They place you at high quality internship sites so you get hands-on learning. The classes are mostly discussion based and are very interesting. They have a very high pass rate for their graduates who take the LCSW exam. You do not have to take the GRE to get in to their... Asbury was a very good fit. School life helped me both academically and socially.
I would look at counseling and Life Coaching.
Get good counsel. Talk to your parents. Pray about it.

The graduate program that I chose at Asbury is the only one of it's kind. The best thing about it is that it is offered online so I can easily continue to teach and take classes. The only problem that I have is the availability of scholarships to graduate students. I couldn't find any that were available to me.

It's small classes. I have 10 people in my class. Something that is good and sometimes now. The MSW program is fairly new. Which is good and bad. The college is in the country with nothing around it. The nearest restaurant is 10 minute away drive time. It's 45 minutes from LExington KY.
