Bradley University is a great school for certain majors- tech, geology, and social sciences. However the required class availability is ridiculous and often at night or filled due to high demand. The cost was a nightmare but the campus is charming. If you like clubd then you'll appreciate the scene.

Bradley had amazing professors and a great dietetics program. The markin gym facility is incredibly nice and they had great opportunities for research lab participation for psychology majors. I feel the curriculum really prepared me for my career and was just a blast.

Gave me false information about financials that cost me significant amounts of money. Out of all the many frustrations Bradley gave me, nothing was worse than finding out I needed multiple extra thousands of dollars I did not have because the financial office told me I was receiving aid I was not. I consistently had technical issues registering for classes that required multiple meetings with different advisors to resolve. Many classes were offered with only one section and overlapping with times... Read More

My school had perfect class sizes for learning. It has plenty of options for dining and activities for students. It also has a huge Greek life on campus. I like that the school also invests a lot of money into it's sports. Lastly, I like that the school partners with so many employers.

Bradley is a very good school, especially for younger students. It wasn't a good fit for me for several reasons. 1) I'm a non-traditional student and it wasn't geared toward this type of student. 2) It seemed too fast, only because the hard courses were grouped together and some were only 6 weeks long. 3) They do not accept classes from undergrad schools especially for the non-traditional students (because they were taken several years ago). I get that they want to make sure that you are in line... Read More

I am currently a student in the Bradley University Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration. My experience with this program has been positive. I was part of one of the first cohorts in their online doctoral program so I did experience some growing pains. However, I was able to make it through them. Some of their professors are excellent, others need some more experience but again, it was a new program and completely online so I'm not sure if this was their first time teaching in that... Bradley was a good school with knowledgeable staff. The small class sizes are nice and the teachers take time to get to know you. The engineering building was somewhat outdated, but the are currently in the process of building a new facility. Overall it was a good engineering program.

This school was a great place to receive individualized attention from your teachers while exploring who you are and what you should be studying. It was a very close knit campus with a very active Greek life and a plethora of activities to do. Additionally, the school is small which means it only takes 15 minutes to get from one class to another.

It was a good school with knowledgeable professors. It is a small/medium sized private university so that you can get more attention from your professors than you might at a larger university. The engineering program was good, but the lab settings could use some updating.

Good size, about 6,000 undergrad. Strong population of Greek Life. No football team, so not a lot of school functions to attend on the weekends. Homecoming is a nonevent. All the parties are held by fraternities, and if you're not in a fraternity as a male student, you most likely will not be allowed to attend. There are house parties for different clubs, speech/debate, and sports houses for soccer and baseball, but yet again, not part of the club you probably won't get invited. Girls can pretty... Bradley is a great private school with a lot to offer. I feel that I took on a lot of school loans that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Please be aware that Bradley is expensive compared to other schools.

Reasonable class sizes made for good learning environment, buildings and housing within close walking proximity, skilled and professional staff. City is not very safe but rarely needed to go off campus

Bradley University's Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department students are sought after by multiple large manufacturing corporations. When attending as an undergrad, I was given every chance to excel and pushed to do my best by my professors. The biggest benefit being the small class sizes and one-on-one interaction with the instructor. Returning as a Graduate student, the small classes tend to hurt the experience more that help due to low enrollment. The department chair pushes more for... Read More
