After expressing our desire to meet the team, they reluctantly allowed our son to undergo an unannounced trial during a practice session, despite being on campus for a considerable time without any training opportunities. This appears to be the university's standard approach – once the fees are paid, they show little concern for their international students, especially those who secured scholarships through sports. Despite reaching out to the foreign student mediator and even the university president, no action was taken. It seems that they are complicit in this deceptive and disappointing recruitment practice. Prospective students and their families should be wary of Campbellsville University's neglectful treatment of international athletes after the enrollment process is complete.

Sadly, I am highly disappointed with the MSW online program at Campbellsville. Campbellsville's work load is 4-5x times as much with much stricter grading, and no room for error. This program is discouraging and would not recommend it for anyone working a demanding family. This program Should be customized to fit those wanting to pursue a higher education that have families and a full-time job, which is the whole purpose of online schools. Most of all the professors are not supportive And when you are having any technical issues, they tell you to contact IT but don’t help with any contact information or attempt to do their best to work with you. Especially, when there’s an error on their end. do not create their own curriculum, but it is already decided for them. The professors thus far Appear to be very knowledgeable in their field, but do not support students or help encourage them. The feedback on assignments is a joke with no examples unless you look it up yourself… the assignments are not realistic. This program does not involve any teaching, but we are expected to learn on our own in order to complete the assignments. I would like to know how many students are passing classes (a C is unacceptable in this program) and how many have to retake them. This would show how successful this program actually is and what can be done Differently. I am starting to regret attending this University. I love social work and have Sacrifice and dedicated years to get to where I am and then to be discouraged in the middle of a program is Defeating.

Campbellsville University is a Christian school that is culturally diverse, which the latter I am extremely thankful for. The atmosphere of the school can be warm and welcoming, or the total opposite. I think it depends on whether or not you are part of the Christian cliques or an outsider. My English degree helped me see outside of the narrow-mindness of Christianity. It helped me see the world from different points of view. It helped me appreciate the different cultures of the world. Expand your friend group, especially at a school that has so many different cultures/nationalities present! Do not limit yourself to one branch of the college (theology, English, psychology, etc.). Get to know teachers and students from different department. Explore. Expand. Evolve. Engage. Dont exclude people that are different from you. Learn about them. Learn from them. Engage with them, before you cast them aside as an outsider. This is my advice!

The tuition is expensive and the majority of professors are adjunct. They post the standardized coursework and grade your assignments. That is all. They may reply to an email with a few words, but they are not concerned about your success. The campus staff also works from home much of the time and there is a voicemail for many campus numbers that says, "We are experiencing high call volume at this time. yada yada yada." You can not get in touch with anyone and there is no organization. I pay every... Classes are a mess. I DO NOT recommend this school.

Also because of this, the professors do not have the knowledge of the course content to answer questions properly or to make adjustments if the assignments are not realistic. For example, we are told that we will lose points if we go over the word count for weekly posts, yet after the assignments we receive comments such as "you should have written more about..." It is impossible to write more about the topic since it is already a struggle to stay in the word count requirements. I do not think the professors realize that it is impossible to answer the questions within only 250-50 words. This program does not involve any teaching, but we are expected to learn on our own in order to complete the assignments. My classmates have shared similar experiences, as most students I spoke to wished that they would have chosen a different school. Many students have shared that they are not passing classes (a C is unacceptable in this program) and have to retake several. I regret going to Campbellsville, and I feel like I have nobody to talk to since there is no support.

The ESL faculty at Campbellsville University is a group of outstanding instructors, mentors, and people. They are endlessly passionate about their work, and helpful and caring towards their students. They teach students from all over the world who come from different cultures and speak different languages and unite them through education. Students leave the ESL program fluent in the English language and with a wealth of educational and career opportunities. Graduate students leave the MATESOL program...
