Degree: Business Administration

I loved my college experience! I felt like I got a great value at my school and was happy to receive my degree. I got my degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. I completed most of my courses online so it was very flexible. 10/10 recommend.

Title: Deceptive Practices and Disappointment at Campbellsville University As the mother of a young athlete who was offered a soccer scholarship to study at Campbellsville University in the United States, I feel compelled to share our deeply disappointing experience. Despite the significant financial sacrifice for our family to support our son's passion for soccer, the university's handling of the situation has left us regretting our decision. Upon arrival, there was no information provided about... Read More

Degree: Social Work

Sadly, I am highly disappointed with the MSW online program at Campbellsville. Campbellsville's work load is 4-5x times as much with much stricter grading, and no room for error. This program is discouraging and would not recommend it for anyone working a demanding family. The classes are impossible to complete with an existing career and having a 3 hour time difference applies even more pressure. It’s defeating when you have spent years working towards a goal and have been successful in all of your... Read More

Do yourself a favor avoid this school. I am telling you again do not even apply. I just do not know where to start. It is about the money they care . Instructors are not even qualify to teach well actually none of them teach you anything. They only grade your assigment. They will give you a homework on moodle you do it they grade it. Unfriendly staff, and instructors. I didn't enjoy my experience at this university. I will not be returning here.

The quality of instruction was good. The office handling online instruction regularly provided misinformation, especially about pricing. It is what one might expect at a used car lot. I was encouraged to enroll in classes far in advance of a term beginning and had difficulty with cancellations, schedule changes and accounting. The school did not allow use of their own greivance procedure to resolve disputes. I was clearly a customer, not a student.

This school is awe ful... They try to present themselves as an awesome university. There MSW program is not good. The chair of the program thinks she is above you as well as staff If you are disabled please do not go here they are not disabled friendly. Glad I found out sooner than later. I rather go to a prestige school and be treated like a human being...

Degree: English

Campbellsville University is a Christian school that is culturally diverse, which the latter I am extremely thankful for. The atmosphere of the school can be warm and welcoming, or the total opposite. I think it depends on whether or not you are part of the Christian cliques or an outsider. My English degree helped me see outside of the narrow-mindness of Christianity. It helped me see the world from different points of view. It helped me appreciate the different cultures of the world. It helped... Read More

Degree: Social Work

The tuition is expensive and the majority of professors are adjunct. They post the standardized coursework and grade your assignments. That is all. They may reply to an email with a few words, but they are not concerned about your success. The campus staff also works from home much of the time and there is a voicemail for many campus numbers that says, "We are experiencing high call volume at this time. yada yada yada." You can not get in touch with anyone and there is no organization. I pay every... Read More

Degree: MSW

I am highly disappointed with the MSW online program at Campbellsville. I transferred in from another university, and Campbellsville's work load is 4 times as much with much stricter grading. It is nearly impossible to complete with an existing career or family which is the whole purpose of online schools. The professors do not create their own curriculum, but it is already decided for them. Because of this, the professors are not teaching (no videos or instruction) but are simply there to grade... They teach students from all over the world who come from different cultures and speak different languages and unite them through education. Students leave the ESL program fluent in the English language and with a wealth of educational and career opportunities. Graduate students leave the MATESOL program... Read More

It is a great college and has a great student diversity. There is a lot of international students. This is not a party school, so if you are looking for a school that you can also party at this is not it. This school is kind of in its own area, so there is not much to do outside of school.

This school offers a wonderful support system. From school enrollment to academic advisement to instruction, every staff member and/or professor becomes personally engaged and genuinely wants to help students succeed. Classes are clear and rigorous. For the degree I am pursuing, a practicum occurs alongside courses which allows immediate practical application of learned skills and ideologies.

Campbellsville provides a great opportunity to full time working professionals through their online MBA program. The program is rigorous and challenging, and so far I have learned a great deal. They have a great online portal and professors communicate well. I wish that the program was more affordable, although it is comparable to other programs.

A pro is that the faculty are there to answer any questions that you may have. The classes are small so you get the attention that is needed. A con is that the graduate program is expensive and you pay for you license on your own. Another con is there are multiple books per class.

Campbell University is a small private Baptist College located in the middle of nowhere in NC. However, the campus is beautiful and the professors are the best and actually care about you and your success! You truly do get the best education at this wonderful university, and its remote location makes it that much easier to focus on your studies. However, it is only about 35 minutes from NCs capital Raleigh so a social life is possible! I love my time spent at Campbell.
