I initially was in the nursing program here and had to switch majors. Cedar Crest is extremely reticent to share their attrition rate as it pertains to the nursing program, but are keen on flaunting its 100% first time NCLEX pass rate. Yes, because eight people graduated in a year from an initial starting class of 60+ students. You can save your money and find a more worthwhile nursing education that cares about preparing you accordingly for a nursing career.

Going to Cedar Crest College was the best decision I ever made. I have heard complaints from other disciplines, but I have to say I never experienced anything negative in the STEM departments. I can't imagine having gone into the STEM field without being at Cedar Crest. I immediately noticed How ahead of many other job candidates I was especially in my lab techniques. I really felt prepared for interviews and landed a job almost immediately as a Research Assistant in an academic research lab. Being a small school, I had a great relationship with my professors and was able to receive advice even after I had graduated. The campus is beautiful and never once did I feel unsafe. It was amazing... Read More

Plan it out carefully. Make sure you even want to go in the first place. It is a huge financial and stressful burden, but there are plenty of good and fun to be had.
