Degree: Psychology

Clemson University greatly impacted my academic and personal life. Being a member of the Honors College allowed me to take niche classes within my major (e.g. psychology of marketing) and interdisciplinary classes as well. I had the opportunity to study abroad twice: once being an internship in London and one being a more traditional study abroad across Australia and New Zeland. Within my major, I was able to participate in a research team that lead to becoming published and presenting at two conferences... Read More

Clemson is a great college with a broad network of training and professional connections. In my time, I was able to use the Palmetto Computing Cluster to learn how to program for and deploy code on HPC(high-performance clusters). The main complaint I have is regarding the parking situation. The spots are deadfully oversold and can cause issues during heavy traffic weeks, like with football games or final exams.

Clemson University is a great university where I never felt at home. The professors in the psychology department were extremely helpful and offered great advice about future career paths. I am very happy that I got my psychology education here because it up showed me many psych careers that I did not even know existed and am now getting I/O psychology PhD. The campus is extremely gorgeous which I honestly think is the best aspect of the university. My main issue is that I never felt at home, and... Read More

Degree: Business

I had a phenomenal time at Clemson, it offered both an enriching student social experience as well as numerous options for professional development. Whole there I met friends for life through clubs, used their career development team to help me figure out a major, and used their job fair to land my current career. I absolutely recommend Clemson to any and all potential students as it will set you up for life. Go Tigers

Degree: Political Science

I think the school had great academics. However, I think there was more emphasis on the business school classes and the engineering school compared to any other school. I think the school was in a very safe area and held plenty of events for students to get involved with. However, I think there could have been better advisors in the academic process. I enjoyed most of my political science classes especially the ones towards the end of my time at Clemson.

I’m a first generation college graduate for undergrad and masters degrees from Clemson University. I started off as engineering then switched to operations management and supply chain after a career placement test with the academic success center. I loved my undergraduate experience, mainly because I didn’t know what to expect and was the first in my family going to a university. Some classes were large while others were smaller and more close knit. I’ve had classes that ranged from 1 professor to... Read More

Clemson was my dream school growing up and it lived up to my expectations. For one, Clemson is in Clemson, SC. It's a whole town of just college kids and some professors. It's a small university, so it felt small and personal, but not too small to where you're constantly running into the same 50 people. My major set me up for success in the 9-5 world. I have knowledge that only a handful of schools in the US teach, and Clemson is ranked as the #1 school for Graphic Communicatios/print.

Clemson gave me a great understanding of the world of finance and allowed me to network with other students who have helped in my career to this day. The program exposed me to all aspects of the business world and gave me an idea of what areas I would like, allowing me to better choose my desired career path. Overall it was a great value and a great school for learning and my career.

Degree: Cognitive Psychology

I went to Clemson University for my undergrad and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and overall it was a really positive experience.

The psychology program was well structured and practical. In my program there was a lot of research which I liked. I felt like the program did a good job preparing me for both the workforce and further education (masters program after).

Outside of classes, Clemson has a strong sense of community and home feel. The campus is beautiful, and school spirit is very... Read More

Clemson was a challenging school in small upstate South Carolina! I joined a sorority, made friends, but studied hard. The classes were diverse and I feel as though they prepared me very well for my further pharmacy school classes. Football was also an amazing aspect, social events, and being part of a large community

Overall, I believe my favorite aspect of Clemson is the student culture. It promotes a culture of community, school spirit, and togetherness. I think this community type of environment helps build social connections and academic relationships that push each other to succeed. While the academics were not the most rigorous at times, I do think it challenged me and helped me learn to think critically and analyze situations and perspectives in different ways. Clemson had an amazing balance between enjoying... Read More

I loved attending Clemson. My professors were top rate, and I came out with a great practical education. The campus was beautiful, with old, historic buildings. While they buildings looked historic, the interiors were modern enough to provide a cutting edge experience. The weather was great and the people are friendly!

Clemson University is an outstanding school to attend. The people you meet, places you'll go, activities to get involved in are all worth the price of attendance. There have been so many incredible moments made with so many new friends that you can make and keep for a lifetime. Clemson is a small community in general, which makes it feel like a family atmosphere. Chose wisely with the type of major you'd like to study because majority of the curriculums will be very demanding and challenging. Make... Read More

I thoroughly enjoyed my degree program. It was the perfect blend of language and science courses. My degree program required an internship abroad which was a very rewarding experience. Clemson is a very STEM oriented institution. For those interested in math and science careers, Clemson is a great fit. I enjoyed campus life at Clemson. The university is a large one, but still has a "Clemson Family" feel, that you will hear mentioned often.

Clemson University is the shell of a once great university. It is now too focused on football and money. The school is transitioning to take in more students and lowering its standards of education . If you enjoy football the school is good, but I hope you dont want to watch any other sports because football gets all the funding. The school is also great at hiding its problems. Every week there is a new tragedy that only the students hear about because it makes their life so much more challenging.... Read More

My experience in the nursing program at Clemson was rigorous and thorough. I felt prepared for my field upon graduation, knowing, of course, there was more to learn, but I gained the critical thinking skills to be a successful, professional nurse.
