CSU Pueblo offered great value on the education received as well as the opportunity to work as a research assistant. The professors were understanding, knowledgeable, and helpful, the classes were engaging, and the food options on campus were excellent.

This program is very disorganized and has a serious lack in faculty. They do not assist in getting clinical hours and their academics are not up to par in my opinion. With that said, they're inexpensive. Their duel program is enticing but I would not recommend it as it is difficult to accomplish in the time allotted when having to schedule your own clinicals with preceptors. If I had to do it again, I would choose a different program and gladly pay the extra amount. I also would only do 1 degree... Read More

This is a brief description from attending and graduating from the engineering department at CSU-Pueblo. The department is small, clique-ish and full of drama. The infighting was so bad one professor had a restraining order against the department chair until he could find another job. One student never finished the program because a professor learned the student had served on the opposing side in the Bosnian-Serb conflict. While cheaper to attend, CSU-Pueblo is not a top tier school.. In one job... Read More

I absolutely loved this college. It was very affordable and they are great with helping students who struggled financially with me. Even if there was not a scholarship available, I went in and sat down with the financial advisers and they found grants, scholarships, and other funding that could help me afford college. They were able to get me an on-campus job that I could do between classes to help afford school. The classes and professors are even better! They look at you as an individual and spend... Read More

Colorado State University at Pueblo is a wonderful school. It has state of the art curriculum, campus and professors. The program I am currently studying is the Master of Ed with endorsement in Cultural Linguistic Diversity. This is an awesome program and will reward you for your hard work and dedication to learning. This program actually took me to higher level in learning about literacy on a English Language Learners side of things. I feel it is one the most valuable concepts to take away from... Read More

The education program at CSU-Pueblo does a wonderful job of preparing their students for meaningful careers in education. Their instructors are very knowledgeable and do a good job of sharing their experiences. They excel at teaching the academic portion of what it means to be a teacher. They provide resources for the classroom management aspect of being a teacher. They are very supportive of those looking for a job in their chosen career by hosting career fairs. It was at their career fair that... Read More

For a working parent CSU-global works very well for me. The professors understand that we are all very busy and things can come up. The grading is usually fair and I have only had one professor that seemed to go through the motions. I wish their online program had virtual lectures rather than slideshows and journal articles. However, the information is solid and you can learn a lot of you apply yourself.

While CSU-P has a few general degrees, they're still degrees. This was in no way a diploma mill of any sort. They treat you just like a real student with an email address, all the perks of a student, and all the heartaches of a student. I wasn't very dedicated to my online work, so it took me quite some time to knock this one out. Some professors are better than others, but it's that way at any school. I got my degree purely for myself and not for my job. If you're looking for a real school without... Read More

I am attending Colorado State University-Pueblo and I am currently taking classes online and will be taking classes in The Towers soon. I had planned on moving to Pueblo eventually and now I have a great reason to. This university is great because it has the program I want which is social work and it is very versatile, allowing me to take classes when and where is most convenient for me. I am so glad I decided to rerun to school!

I feel the pros of my graduate program include the flexibility to learn and complete tasks on my time (online classes). Cons include lack of face to face interaction, as well as gradual but slow acceptance of online education as quality.

CSU- Pueblo is very affordable, the teachers are highly accessible and they offer both traditional and online classes making it easy for anyone. The school is located in Pueblo which doesn't have much to offer of things to do, but the campus is very well taken care of and provides a lot of ammenities.

I feel this program has tremendous potential but is struggling due to lack of state funding. The instructors are over-stretched and over-worked, sometimes not qualified to teach the courses they are in charge of teaching. It is one of the most affordable programs I could find in colorado however ,and they were willing to accept all of my prior grad work.

Pros - very affordable and close to home with the ability to do online classes Cons - workload is difficult with full time job. Some professor change assignments 24 hours before it's due leaving little time to accomlish quality work.

I wish this program was stronger, but I feel the school is struggling so much financially just to keep afloat, that qualified and sufficient faculty are sparse. My over-all feeling has been complete disappointment in the quality of my education and I am likely transferring programs.

But I believe I will start my won manufacturing company in some point and that will lead from the front to begin a new manufacturing era for our country.
