DeVry offers fully online degrees, which in an age where everyone has to work at least one full time job is very helpful for time management. The virtual classes are recorded and can be viewed at the students convenience. Classes are only 8 weeks long, so even if you're in one that isn't your favorite, a new subject is right around the corner.

I enjoyed taking online classes at Devry. I worked fulltime and it made it very easy to take classes at night to earn my degree. I worked with great teachers and students within all my classes. It was challenging but not so difficult that I could not learn and accomplish what I needed to do.

I loved the professors I had. They are great and go way beyond making sure you succeed. The class material is outdated and crammed into a short period. When I attended DeVry, the semesters were 8 weeks long, which is less than half the length of other colleges' semesters. I would highly suggest doing your research before choosing any college. If you just need a degree, Devry might be for you. I went for engineering. Would not recommend.

Devry University has a great medical and billing program. They are giving me all the tools and support necessary to achieve my academic and professional goals. The staff is great and attentive, and the technology in the lessons make the interactive learning easy to understand so you can apply that knowledge in the real world. Thank you Devry!!

The pace to get any thing done take forever and you will have to reach out yourself to get anything management needs .. I feel like I’m being played with every single person says something different to me . Nobody is on same page and success is becoming harder

Last year, I decided to pursue a new career after lots of changes in my life. I researched the Medical Billing and Coding program, and even spoke with an incredibly friendly and informative advisor who explained the program and its potential for my future. I explained to her that I was currently unemployed and could take the year to complete the certificate program, get an entry-level job in the field, and then return to pursue higher degrees in Health Information Management. She agreed it was a... Read More

In a time where working adults has their choice of online education options, I settled on DeVry. in part for the cost comparison and then the reviews. I wasn't wrong, The Staff from enrollment to the professors have been very helpful. I even was having an issue in the library online, and the online librarian went above and beyond to help me, including contacting my professor. I would recommend Devry, I admit I have no basis for comparison, and I can only comment on what my experience has been.

Enrolling at the DeVry University School was the best choice I’ve made. The university has enhanced my knowledge above and beyond. The professors are amazing at what they teach us. The entire faculty help and solve any problems that might arise. They are always giving good advice towards your education. GO DeVry UNIVERSITY!!!!!!!!!

I would not recommend Devry for students that want to develop their career or gain new skills. This is not the place.
This institution does not provide a comparable education to traditional 2 or 4 year schools, nor is the education transferable to a career in business. I took these classes through Devry because they are easier than a local university; there is minimal interaction between students and the professor and the quality of the education was frankly a joke. I could have sourced better lesson... Read More
The courses I took were inferior to comparable courses I attended during my undergraduate and graduate courses at other institutions. I would not recommend Devry for any student that is serious about their education.
I took these courses for CPA credits, but I wish I had actually learned something along the way.

Worst Experience ever. Whoever deciding to go here please consider other options. To much to go into but the online teachers the lazy. AI does most of the teaching. I tried to test out which I did for 1 part, however I've been preventing from another portion. They want only money. Already delayed my graduation date before with their screws ups. Disgraceful. I will be contacting the board of education.

Earning a GPA of 4 out of 4 this semester at DeVry University has been a fulfilling experience for me. The courses were challenging but provided valuable opportunities for growth, both academically and personally. The support from my professors and the resources available helped me stay on track and achieve my goals. I’m proud of this accomplishment and grateful for the education that DeVry offers.

The WORST school experience ever. They do not care about you at all. Once they get your money, they do not care if you fail or succeed. Constantly given the wrong information about the program and costs. I was also given no help to schedule my RHIT exam. I was told they didn't have the resources to help me schedule the exam when they are an accredited program. I think that is absolutely ridiculous that they cannot provide advice and resources for an exam that is required to get a job with this degree.... Read More

Tuturs are lazy and they pick and choose who they want to help being an online student without being able to ask questions to professors is crazy then I was told I could get credit request since I am using a Chromebook laptop but unfortunately I was denied by the supervisor didn't have a reason but I assume I will be failing this semester and probably won't be able to attend anymore they don't care about others education like they say at least they don't show it at all

They don't seem to comprehend that if the program that is strictly for student attendance is not accessible for the week on day one and closes no matter what at the day 7 of each week and cannot be accessed or posted in after day 7 of the exact week then how are they supposed to attend school and if they cannot access it without doing homework for that week or looking and doing things for the class itself and nobody tells them then they can't attend school so they did all their homework for no reason... The teachers were very good but the course material was ok. I tested out of ridiculous simple courses like building PC's. My problem is the reputation of the school, it's barely better than ITT. I can't count how many times I've been told that my Cisco certifications were more valuable than my Bachelors of Science degree from Devry. My certs were the cost of a book plus $150 for a test and my Bachelors left me with $75k in student debt even though I had to pay monthly while in school.
Also I mysteriously... Read More
Since I didn't know about it, I ended up with one "defaulted" loan that was instantly a extra $10k that I still had to pay off, because while it doesn't have the same rules as other student loans, it still gets the same protections. (Thank you Devry and Wachovia) I graduated 20 years ago, but I still owe about $15k paying the monthly payments.
The Campus I attended closed in 2015

Tried to point out a flaw in an assignment and showed them where ambiguity was showing instead of clear concise directions of what is expected for the assignment and everyone up to the Dean has been unable to show me otherwise and just decide to side with the Moronic Professor. I informed them that I was willing to discuss the issue in length, but no one reached out other than by email which isn't conducive to a discussion but meh...Also told them I was more than willing to do the extra stuff they...
