The school was the perfect size. You recognized most people. There were few large lecture halls and many more classes where professors knew you. Wonderful community on campus full of ways to get involved. I took advantage of playing a D3 sport, participated in clubs, and worked on campus.

I attended Elizabethtown College completely online for two years. I chose Elizabethtown College because they worked very closely with my current employer who offered me tuition reimbursement if I worked full-time while I attended. I found the option to do one class at a time online very appealing and easy to manage while also working.

amazing school thar is simply an underrated gem. the campus is improving, the area(harrisburg, lancaster) are growing more cosmopolitian giving students more and more to do off-campus. the only knock on elizabethtown is a smallish endowment versus other mid atlantic liberal arts school thus limited scholarship, campus investment, faculty research, etc. the school is one or two 10-15 million dollar gifts from becoming quite the place.

My courses were 1/3 all in class, 1/3 all on line, and 1/3 was a mix of both. The classroom was very adult oriented and you even had to meet certain work experience criteria to be accepted (as opposed to being in a classroom with recent graduates with little to no work experience). I was able to gain different perspectives on the subjects and how they are relevant in different careers.

I absolutely loved my education at Elizabethtown College. The class sizes are small, providing each student with one-on-one attention. The community is great, the academics are masterful. I would highly recommend this institution to anyone who wishes to attend a private college.

Great private school in a small college town. Offers dozens of unique majors and minors with the small school feel. Founded in Christian denomination, the same values remain without students having to ascribe to that religion. Amazing study abroad opportunities and clubs and organizations. Supportive faculty and friendly staff.

I felt that I received an extremely well-rounded degree at Elizabethtown College as I was pursuing my degree in occupational therapy. The college offered a variety of courses that one could sculpt into a minor in order to refine our educational interests. I was able to complete two minors which were in Human Services and Psychology and I feel that the classes involved in these minors served to supplement my education and will make me a better practitioner. Furthermore, in completing these minors,... Read More
