Grace Christian university is an excellent school. I applied myself 100 percent, and received 100 percent value for my time, money, and commitment. The professors were attentive and provided timely relevant feedback, and all my courses were relevant to my degree. Some of my major courses included criminal justice, general psychology, lifespan psychology, sociology, human services, conflict management, marriage and family, abnormal psychology, survival psychology, counseling, and research statistics.... Grace Christian University is the utter epitome of mixed bags. Some professors are fantastic while others are lazy and unintentional. Some classes I will never forget taking while others I can't believe cost me thousands of dollars. Also a shame to see the general student body treated as pathetic toddlers - I cannot take any of their events seriously. The shine's worn off the penny. I am staying around purely because the allure of a future degree has given me opportunities I would otherwise lack.... Read More

This school is not a go to school. All they care about is money. Their athletics are a joke half of the time, and they over use their players. Most of the time the school doesn’t even care about your success. They just want the money. I feel they don’t care about anything but money, and that is why the have never grown as a a school.

Attend another college. Noone answers your questions, and they do not follow their policies. They tell you what you want to hear to get their money, and then never answer the phone. When they do, your questions still are not answered. The professors do not answer questions, bur will write a book on their opinions.

Grace was fantastic. I went on as many trips as I could while I was a student and the fact that the trips were classes for credit was amazing. I got to go to Israel for 10 days and that counted for my 400 level Bible class that I needed to graduate. Grace is affordable, the professors are some of the most caring and genuine mentors I’ve ever met, and the community is nurturing and safe.

Wanna be the butt of a joke, and waste money come here. The classes are so unnecessary for the major you choose, they overcharge, you never know when or if the Blackboard will be up or down, You never know when the breaks are or if you might get one even for the holidays (online). I am over it after my next two classes I'm leaving this zoo.

I love Grace Christian! I take online classes. The class sizes are great. I love all the friends I have made. The material we learn is very useful. The professors are awesome. I don't think it cost an unreasonable amount as some other comments have said. I pay about $350 per course not $1000. I do not pay $150 for blackboard per class. I don't know where they got that but they graduated before I started. It does take two months for financial aid to receive pell grants and distribute them. It also... Read More

This school was a nightmare. I had quite a few issues with Financial Aid. They nickel and dimed me to death and added so many ridiculous fees to my account. The courses are outrageous as far as charges. You will pay about $1000 dollars per course. Much more than you'd pay at any other college. Professors are awful. Courses are thrown together with useless information that you will in no way benefit from. I really hated my time at this school and am so happy to move on from it.

Their online program is a joke. It just seems like a money making scheme. The fees were outrageous. I received the least amount of financial aid than any other school I attended. You have to wait until almost 2 months into each semester to get your financial aid funds as well. I was charged the same fee 4 times. It was 150 dollar fee to access the student portal and blackboard. They charged it PER CLASS. $600 to access their online system PER SEMESTER. When I asked why I had to pay 4 times to access... Green Mountain College offers a great online graduate program. Obtaining my Master of Science in Evironmental Studies was possible and enjoyable because of how the curriculum and class structure was set up. Having fast paced classes that lasted only 6 weeks is a wonderful fit with somone who is working full-time.

My experience in the Youth Ministry degree was really excellent. I appreciated the classes and the professors. I would have wanted the practicum to come sooner in the degree (it was my final semester of senior year). My experience with the practicum was excellent, however one of my classmates didn't realize UNTIL the practicum that she didn't enjoy youth ministry because of that experience. So, for her, the practicum came too late. For me, however, it was excellent. (and perhaps they have changed... Read More

I really enjoy and like the environment at Grace Bible college. I like small schools and colleges, so GBC was the best choice for me. I am studying under the human services degree program, so I take a lot of courses under the psychology role. I enjoyed the chapel services, but I would say that requiring students to attend chapel (and get penalized with fees if you don't) would have been a deterrent if I had known about it before attending Grace Bible college.

Going to grace you get more than just an education. I have the degree I needed to get the job I have now, but I also have gained the confidence I need to succeed and the desire to serve God in everything that I do.

At Grace Bible College you are challenged and invested in daily by incredible faculty and staff who take their calling seriously. The experiences provided made me feel prepared for stepping out into the real world and he relationships I built at Grace will last a life time. There are plenty of student activities and fun stuff going on and the athletics are great! When I left I felt more prepared to serve Christ in the church and my community.

I loved my time at Grace! In a small school setting I was able to make some lifelong friends but more importantly, I was able to further my relationship with the Lord and deepen my understanding of the Bible. I spent several years on the mission field and I would not have been able to do the work I did if it were not for the training and knowledge I received from Grace Bible College. It saddens me that someone might not recommend this school when I see all of the genuine love and concern that the... Read More

Great community Grace offers. Students can feel accepted and welcomed. The professors sincerely care about you and your future. Something they could do better is discuss what the degree path the student is on, and what sorts of jobs are available when the degree is complete. And then offer some job placement assistants, outside the community of Grace as well as inside.

I wish I could say a lot of good things about this school. Unfortunately their isn't that much good to say about the school. My degree (Digital Media) was cancelled halfway through my time at the school. Which they kept the degree going for those enrolled in program until we graduated, our funding was cut to almost nothing and as a result the gear we were promised never came and we had to finish our degree training with gear that was really sophomore in level. On top of that after graduation no one... Read More
