Degree: Nursing

Overall, the campus and the people were ok. The pre-nursing classes I took for the ABSN program were good and challenging and the instructors were ok-no real complaints there. One of the sisters was rude. Some students in my genetics lab class group were very rude one day which I had to report and it was quickly corrected. But the communication was very poor from the nursing department. I made it clear to the clinical coordinator that I was unable to get a flu shot and she gave me the impression,... Read More

I am writing this review to warn others who may be considering the nursing program at Immaculata University in Malvern, PA to know that they will NOT be successful in any nursing program if they do not get a Covid shot and flu shot.

Degree: Healthcare Administration

I liked immaculata when I first began taking classes there. Unfortunately the communication with professors and other administrators was severely lacking . The worst part however, was the financial aid office. I was told I could pay off my tuition balance (no idea why I had one) in installments. I contacted the office multiple times and would not receive any help. When a person did get back to me many weeks later they told me I have never called or emailed anyone and they sent my account to collections.... Read More

Good school for non-traditional students (that was my experience) with faculty who are extremely supportive and a curriculum that is challenging.

The college for adult learners is excellent. I loved the small class size and we all stayed together as a cohort. My only disappointment is that I wish I had more help with the financial aid office. I'm now struggling with student loans that with my income could have been prevented.

After receiving my bachelors degree in Psychology I realized I wanted to pursue a degree in Music therapy. However, I had minimal music skills and had difficulty finding a school that offered everything I needed. What I needed was a school that could teach me this unique career, as well as accommodate my full-time work schedule. Immaculata met all my requirements and more. The faculty are skilled music therapists who have a passion for their career and instills inspiration in me to continue no matter... Read More

The professors are willing to help if you need it. If you choose the right major you can be successful as with any school. Small class sizes. High tuition. Make sure your career of choice is worth the high price tag. I enjoyed my time there, but if I could go back I would change my major.

Degree: Nursing

Immaculata University offered an accelerated BSN program to nurses who wanted to move forward in their profession and still maintain a balanced family life. The admission staff visited job sites for recruitment and assistance with the enrollment process. The program considered work experience as part of the credit requirements and offered multiple scholarship opportunities. The satellite campus was also convenient to my home and place of employment. The instructors were very knowledgeable in their... Read More

The program uses professors who have hands on knowledge. They are either currently working in the field or have worked in the field in recent years. The information provided really helps give you an idea of what your career will truly be. However, this is a relative new program, so there are some kinks they need to figure out still.

This particular program worked for me I am raising four children and working so I needed a program that best fits my schedule as well as my children. It allowed me to attend classes one day a week for two years during the morning without interrupting my life style or my childrens. It was extremely convient and all the instructors were understanding and helpful as well as encouraging.

The quality of the program is great, the teachers are always willing to help you are they are usually available to their office for any concern. The School has everything you need to suceed; in my opinion, the disadvantage of the program I am enroled is that it is only full time and it get tough sometimes when you also have a full time job.

The program is excellent and I am receiving a very well rounded graduate education. However, the psychology program boasts that it is for working students but forces student to quit their jobs in the 3rd year for full time internships. Because of this, there is little financial aid available at that time

Immaculata has a wonderful graduate school with teachers and advisers that are always willing to help. The campus is beautiful, and the library and computer labs are excellent. My only complaint is I wish the schedule was a bit more flexible for working adults, but overall it's a great school.
