I had a fantastic experience at Indiana University. I would absolutely recommend it IF it is still the same as when I went. I heard recently that a lot of majors were gutted. If that is the case, I would not recommend attending. The school of informatics and the school business are of very high quality.

Really was not worth the out of state cost. Most of my "professors" were Ph.d students, which I would not have minded had they been more secure in the knowledge they were attempting to teach. Often if someone posed question they would need to "verify" their answer and then would forget to ever get back to class. Quality of learning was not worth the amount of tuition. Had no advisor for half of my time there because my initially assigned one retired mid-year. Very little support for students. But... Read More

I think college is important for some and not so much for others. As I saw from some of my classmates you take on tremendous debt. Make sure that college is indeed for you before you decide to take on that 4 years. If you do it will be some of the best 4 years of your life. You will grow, make great friends, have new experiences and start to mature.
