This is arguably the worst school in the state of Georgia. To start, the Cochran and Eastman campuses has practically no amenities. All counties in and around the school are dry counties with zero bars and alcohol sale is prohibited on Sundays, so if you are looking for school with any sort of social life this is not the one for you.
In the flight department, you take a 50/50 gamble on getting the nicest, most polite instructor imaginable; or the snobbiest, insufferable, incredibly stuck-up instructor... Read More

I BEGAN MY COLLEGE JOURNEY AT A DIFFERENT UNIVERSITY SO SOME OF MY FEELINGS TOWARDS MGA ARE COMPARATIVE IN NATURE. I DID NOT FEEL THE SAME KIND OF COMMUNITY AT MGA AS I DID AT THE FIRST COLLEGE I ATTENDED. I THINK THE CLASS SCHEDULES WERE NOT AS FLEXIBLE AS I NEEDED THEM TO BE WHILE STILL WORKING. I PREFER AN IN PERSON SETTING BUT SO MANY WERE ONLY OFFERED ONLINE, OR IF THEY WERE IN PERSON, THE TEACHER WAS ON A SCREEN ANYWAY. I DON'T THINK THIS IS THE BEST MODE OF LEARNING FOR ME. I DO LIKE SELF... Read More

I am an MGA alumni who started a graduate program recently. Please believe me when I say that you should not go to this university! Avoid at all costs! Even though my time as an undergrad was excellent, the 2 semesters that I have been a graduate student have been an awful nightmare. As others have mentioned, the financial aid office is absolutely atrocious and their extreme incompetence is why I will stop going here and start another masters program somewhere else. Every month, there is major issue... Read More

Only want to say that the people that work here are enormously LAZY, UNHELPFUL, AND RUDE! Forget trying to get help in financial aid, it is NOT going to happen. I have spent weeks and weeks calling to only be hung up on or given misinformation that caused more issues and had to start over. They are not trained and do not give out information to questions that are correct. You will get a hundred different answers. If your lucky you'll get a human on the phone, but your information is going to be down... Read More

it is a good, very very very affordable school. even if you are an out of state student the online classes are very much affordable. good if you are paying for school yourself. the admissions office however seems to misplace documents quite often tho :/

I would not recommend anyone get a business degree from here. It is a worthless degree. It helped me get a part time job at GameStop and that’s about it. Luckily I went to tech school before my degree and had something to fall back on. I am now going to another school again so I can change careers. I am not saying don’t go, just make sure you get a technical degree so you can be marketable. Something like nursing, engineering, or computers would have been way better.

MGA is a great choice for a quality education at a fair price. I studied online and on the Macon campus, so I can't speak to the other campuses but Macon has a wonderful Student Center and all the staff seem very friendly and eager to help. The strongest asset this university has is its faculty, especially the IT faculty. Everyone is engaged and helps students do their best. They have a great internship placement program and tutoring facilities. The recently started a master's program in IT that... Read More

The campus in Cochran is terrible. From the cafeteria to the help they offer for schooling. I am a business major and I cant even get help from a tutor for finance because they dont have anyone to help with that. The workers all over campus are lazy and do not care about their tasks. A large majority of them sit around on their cellphones the entire time. They claim to have Starbucks and Papa Johns on their campus when in reality neither one of them tastes like it. The cafeteria has the worst dinner... Read More

The financial aid office is absolutely terrible. They aren't helpful at all. If you don't bring up information about loans, scholarships, or any type of aid, they will sit back and wait until it's time for you to graduate to tell you what needs to be paid. If you are due for a refund, make sure you stay on top of it because most applicants just get pushed to the side while they waste time.

Middle Tennessee State University was a great school to attend for a bachelors degree. The instructors were very helpful and personable. Their curriculum was very up to date which was helpful in keeping us as students interested in our field of study.

I had transferred from Georgia State University to Middle Georgia. I like the classes a lot better. The classes were smaller and I actually had a chance to ask my professor for help. Also I saw an improvement in my grades once I selected the right major. I would recommend this school.

I received my degree from Middle Georgia State University and I got my bachelors degree in psychology. I think its very important to have a professor and student interaction. For my program, I believe the professor were very helpful and are willing to work with you if you ask them. The school is on the smaller scale which is a good thing to help you concentrate in your classes. The most students in a class is about 30 students. Overall I would recommend my school.

Middle Georgia State University is an excellent school for the price. It's fast-growing, and the small class sizes are great for teacher-student interaction. It is not an easy school, you will feel prepared upon graduation. With newly offered Master's and five campuses, this school is on the rise.

This degree and college have not only helped my career, but also helped launch it. As long as you work hard and engage in meaningful learning so that you are able to actually apply theory to practice, you will reap all the benefits of this program. If I could do it all over again, I would still choose this school and this program.

Middle Georgia State University has a big program for Business and nursing degrees. The tuition is very cheap , and you get lots of opportunities in the classroom and outside of the classroom. There are lots of great teachers that will help you in anyway that they can. One of the biggest things that i really enjoy about this school is that there are never any classes on Friday, so you will anyways have a three day weekend. This three day weekend gives you time to do any homework that you may have.... Read More

I think my Alma Mater is the cheapest and most effective school for receiving a degree in the Logistics Field. The professors within this particular discipline care about the program's growth as well as the individuals in the program. It is not a popular field of study, and you will always get aa chance to network with other students and peers from other institutions. The most effective and memorable experience for me is/was the logistics convention that happens every year: Teachers (the professors... Read More
