I loved my time at NEC. The athletic community and the small-town charms were my favorite part of living in Henniker. The professors were helpful and the school provided access to ample resources for success and support for students from all backgrounds

I have been in the online Health Care Administration program for a year and a half now and it has been amazing. The flexibility this degree offers works well with the work life balance. I currently am working fulltime as a Clinical Nurse Manger and my schooling flows well with my schedule. Everyone that I have reached out to in the business office to my professors have always been very responsive and detailed also responding in a timely manner. I really like how all my professors have given us students... Read More

They have ton of potential, sadly they're not taking advantage of it. The courses are mostly writing intensive (this is a liberal arts college), but they're also so ridiciulsy bland & boring. You litterally just read a book & write assignments or discussion posts. You can get this at University of the People or a few other colleges for 80% off of their tuition costs. I'm so dissapointed by the way the courses are laid out - you learn the bare minimum this way - if anything! They have 'videos' in... Read More

Its a great institution for learning and developing as a person. But I don't think I received the learning I deserved, its not all that worth the money. I've learned some very valuable tools and lessons from this school, but this school did not assist with my major. But thats okay because it made me realize what I really wanted to go into which is Higher Education. The schools community is amazing but like all things require some more work, but staff/ faculty are amazing. Staff/ Faculty actually... Read More

New England's College of Education cares about their students and goes above and beyond to make sure that the students have the access to the resources that they need. They guided me through my master's and worked with my needs, I wasn't just a student, I was a person.

Don't even start at this school at all. They were not helpful at all with getting financial aid even though their tuition is ridiculous. Since was unable to get financial aid, contacted them to withdraw from classes well before the start of semester and they left me signed up. Only realized because they sent email stating failing class. Then had audacity to charge almost$70 for a piece of paper that was required to register in first place, since I withdrew from the classes. Just poor start, poor... Read More

If you want to give money in exchange for a piece of paper without any critical thinking the online bachelor program with New England College (administered through a corporation called Bisk Education) is for you. Half the time the book doesn't apply to the content of the course and other times the "book" is a bunch of links to websites. The crazy part is after paying $150 for links to online articles the links were expired and the adjunct professor sent alternative links. Every class has the same... Read More

WARNING!!! Do not attend this college! They care nothing about your education. The financial aid department is the worse! Getting help is like walking backwards through a cemetery at night. The finan depart. Is never theoral and friendly. They answer the phone as though they're tired of being employed there. You will not get the proper answers to your questions and you are rushed off of the phone really quick. The financial aid dept. is extremely slow when handling your business and you will be penalized... Read More

So far my experience in the graduate program at New England College has been a very positive one I elected to take the on-line courses because of the versatility with my schedule which allows me to access my course work anywhere at any time while continuing to work. The professors and classmates have been very helpful and I would highly recommend this program.

Do not come to this college. It is the biggest mistake I have made. There is nothing to do in this town, its very tough if you don't have a car. The students are very close minded. Honestly this college feels like high school all over again. It is very clicky & there is so much drama. I think the reason why there is so much drama & clicks is because the school is so small & because it is so small it makes it feel like a continuation of high school. The food is disgusting. I don't know how they expect... Read More

NEC offers high quality education with knowledgeable and responsive professors that is relevant for students that will be competing in today's job market. Courses are tough, yet engaging and professors require a lot, offer the tools for accomplishments, and believe their students can achieve brilliantly. I am more than satisfied with the opportunity!

Incredible faculty, great library staff. Very supportive mentors who are easily accessed. New and creative directors working on making the low residency experience a great one. The campus is beautiful and quiet. There does not seem to be much diversity among students enrolled in the MFA program other than with age. Most students are Caucasian. Campus is not that accessible for those with disabilities. The dorm rooms are not well equipped for the climate, ie:warm blankets or working fans.

Pros: online masters degree so I can work at my own pace and still be able to successfully have a full time job. Professors are very attentive. Cons: online so you don't have one on one interactions with other students or professors.

I have just completed my freshman year at NEC! I am training to be a teacher and just wanted to share my experience so far. The courses are very interesting and relevant, and I have found them to very useful. You get a lot of real world experience; for example, I have just completed a first year student teaching class, which is a rarity that many schools save till your final year. I have also been a paid intern at a local school, thanks to my college's work study program. I would definitely advice... Read More

The pros of the graduate program include, the five years of schooling. The programs does a 3/2 which states that a student does 3 years at New England College, and after you transfer to Nichols College and do an additional two years. The program has good professor's that are willing to help their students. The cons of the program is that their is not as many design/hands on building classes.
