I really enjoyed my time at OSU. I felt like concerning my particular area of study, we had top tier professors and programs. It was really great to get hands on experiences that I was able to put as skills on my resume or utilize in my career. I can’t speak for other areas of study but concerning my experience it was great.

I really enjoyed my time at OSU. It's a small town, small campus vibe but still offered greek participation and had a really great art program. The campus feels safe, and my on-campus apartment was really nice. There were lots of dining options and getting involved on campus is really easy if you have time. My particular degree program was really intensive - only about half of the applicants are accepted during a sophomore year review. Time wise it was also really intense. I don't regret it though!... Degree: Business

Oklahoma State University is a great college. I decided to pursue a degree in marketing and a minor in management. The business school does a great job at helping you find a job after college. I went to many career fairs and had many professors whole helped support my post grad job hunt. I met many great people here and would highly recommend oklahoma state.

It’s a good school but the whole time I was there I felt like an outsider. I had never felt so alone and scared in my life. I was in the FIT program spring semester my freshman year. Totally useless program. None of the other students in the program would even talk to me. I had a slob of a roommate who leave their clothes on the bathroom floor and their drinks piled up on the dresser in the small hallway we shared. Because they would never throw away their drinks we ended up getting gnats. I was... Read More

Degree: English

Oklahoma State University was an outstanding university committed to excellence. My advisors were helpful and personable. My class sizes were generally small, and my professors knew my name. They were also highly intelligent and passionate about the subjects they taught. My English and education classes were applicable to my future career, and I knew that I would be prepared for a job upon graduating for OSU.

Degree: Philosophy

Oklahoma State University provided me with a quality education and introduction to the field of philosophy. The philosophy department is diverse and staffed with excellent professors that take every measure to promote and share their love of philosophy. It is here that I was first formally introduced to the field, which proved to be a formative experience, as I am now a graduate student studying philosophy. The university provided me not only scholarship opportunities and financial assistance, but... Read More

Ive only been to one university, but my experience at Oklahoma State has been a spectacular and game-changing experience. From the many knowledgeable, helpful professors to the cleanliness of campus to the safety that the security provides to minimize crime incidents. OSU has been an experience of not only the growth in knowledge but a growth in independence as young adults. The majority of the staff is informative and polite, this is especially important when you are a freshman or in my case, a... Read More

Degree: Animal Science

Attending Oklahoma State University was one of my best life decisions! I was an out of state student, and did not come from a traditional agricultural background, and they made me feel right at home. I loved how their animal science program was very hands on, and that is something that initially attracted me to the school. The professors are great and very knowledgeable, and they do not make you feel as though you are just a number. I chose to pursue an option in production, and what I enjoyed the... Read More

College was a great learning experience that helped me find friends that are still a large part of my life today. It also helped me decide what to do with my life and helped me to get an internship while still in school. College will not teach you how to handle money so be aware,. Debt doesn't have to be a part of your life. College is all about learning and can help you to become an adult.

It is important as an undergrad to ensure that you are pushing yourself with your course schedules. As a vet student now, I appreciated how easy it was to personalize my curriculum and found that the rigors of the coursework are definitely major-dependent. If you don't plan to pursue graduate work after school, a high volume high difficulty path is not necessary, but for both my brother and I, we had to carefully evaluate what courses would prepare us for architectural engineering professional school... At Oklahoma State I was a part of the College of Arts and Sciences; specifically working as a students of Human Physiology. OSU was a unique fit in that with the schools clout and size I was able to find opportunities beyond just campus. Completing my thesis on human genome generation in relation to familial contexts through Steadman Hospital. As well as receiving personal instruction from various teaching professors who helped me in my research one on one.
