While they're definitely was some good staff there I would have to say most were just phoning it in Antipathy was common . The website and online interface was also horrifyingly bad an IT department that messes up everything they get near. The whole program seems to be on autopilot and nobody's watching.

Had to drop classes to work full time to survive and they told me I wouldn't have payments, now they've taken $1000 out and will probably take another $1000 in December and I'm livid. Will likely stop attending now as I can't afford to be charged payments I wasn't supposed to when I'm trying to survive.

I graduated with an Associate of Arts degree with the intention to transfer to a 4 year University to complete my Bachelors. I am so glad I took the route of attending OTC in Springfield. The campus was great and has only improved since I graduated. I loved my small class sizes compared to friends who went directly to a State school. Most of my teachers were extremely helpful. They are more able to care for individual students than if they were teaching 100+ size classes. I felt well prepared when... Read More

After dealing with the snarkiness of the supposed advisor and the chair of the department. I would not recommend this college to anyone looking for a CIS degree. Not to mention the classes that are unavailable on certain semesters and others need advisor permission. Honestly, this college is a joke. They have GPA's incorrect, they have completion rates screwed up, and it is hilarious that the advisor doesn't know the difference between a Midterm EXAM and a Midterm Cumulative Grade. Honestly, I am... Read More

This is the absolute worst waste of time, money and natural resources. Attending this program taught me one thing, skip this waste and go get your BSN like I did. Absolutely the worst, unorganized, petty and crap instructors I have ever come across. When the class would have an average of 62% on a test, I was positively amazed the adjuncts and instructors had the fortitude to continue to blame it on the Class rather than the subpar instruction. Teachers would target a student a pursue them hard in... Read More

Unorganized, belittling instructors/adjuncts, last minute clinical site scheduling since OTC does not have their own hospital to coordinate clinicals. Instructors hold students to a higher sense of responsibility and standards then they hold themselves. Be prepared to be told on thing and then something completely different to actually occur and the it all being chalked up to teaching you the hectic world of nursing. Skills are taught one way while clinical skills are done however possible. Basically,... Read More

OTC is a great school for undergraduate students to begin at. It is also much cheaper than other colleges for random courses you need for your general education. Really good facilities and I love the industry and tech. There are many vocational programs and certificates to be had. I have not had a teacher that I did not like. It's a great school and a great option for any one in the Ozarks area because there are several campuses. I'm grateful for the experience, I found good guidance. :)

OTC is a great community college and wonderful place to begin your post-secondary education. The OTC campus has grown and improved over the years and continues to do so annually. OTC provides a wide variety of opportunity and I highly recommend this college to high school graduates.

The LPN program was an excellent program. The instructors were dedicated to our success. OTC offers a future for less money without sacrificing quality of education.
