Don’t feel that school prepared me for the real world. Still had to start out as an assistant and work my way up. They say you will jump people with a degree but I have not yet. I feel at times I should’ve just started as an assistant without going to college and could’ve been further along than I am now.

Penn State gave me a flexible way to finish my degree while balancing work and everything else going on in life. The online format made it possible to keep moving forward without putting my career on hold, and that was a big deal for me. The coursework in Organizational Leadership was practical and easy to connect back to real world situations, especially around communication, management, and the team dynamics.

Penn State is a great school with a ton of resources available to students . The programs for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) are in depth and useful. The electives past the 1st year courses are also very useful, and can help students branch out into minors or other fields related to their major. The amount of internship opportunities are also good, with many of them being offered by the professors themselves.

I cannot speak for all majors at PSU, but the music school is excellent. I felt very prepared for my job teaching music. None of my music classes felt redundant or useless (although there were some general ed classes that seemed a little unhelpful). I had great professors who truly invested in their students and was thankful to learn in an environment that was not super competitive, but collaborative in nature instead.

Penn State University is an extremely well-maintained university with a lot to offer on a rural campus. Although some folks are uncertain about its rurality, I found that it was quaint, quiet and very safe to live in. The grounds are always maintained even during the harsh winter season, and the buildings are new and inspected frequently. I also enjoyed my program and felt supported throughout my entire time as a master's student.

Penn State University offers an outstanding academic experience with top-tier faculty, diverse programs, and a vibrant campus community. The school spirit is unmatched, and opportunities for research, networking, and personal growth make it an excellent choice.

I overall really loved the academic and social environment of my college, which I felt had a great mix of diversity of people and diversity of thought. The professors were really good, with ample office hours and time for individual students. I loved the availability of clubs and greek like as well.

Penn State was a very enjoyable University to attend! I enjoyed the social life and the academics greatly. There are a large number of student organizations to join both related to your major of study and unrelated. There are a large number of classes available and any major can be enjoyed here!

I had a great time at Penn State. I met a lot of my current friends while I was there, and I think it’s a very welcoming community. I also think the academics were top notch. Covid messed a lot of things up, but it professors did the best they could to make things work. I have nothing but positive things to say.

I went to Penn State. It was some of the best years of my life. On a social level it is probably unmatched. That was good and bad as there are more than enough distractions when it comes to focusing on your academics. Overall, I would not exchange my years there for anything.

I attended World Campus and am very happy with my experience. The Human Resources program was SHRM certified and I was able to take the SHRM exam upon graduating at the discounted student rate. I felt my coursework prepared me well for work and I found the coursework engaging.

Penn State is a good university, there are some good professors and the admin is good and responsive. It's difficult to say how useful some degrees are these days because the job landscape has changed so drastically. I do like how Penn State has so many offerings and they're very helpful.

Penn State offers a well balanced college experience that blends academics with community. I strongly believe I could not have received a better education elsewhere. I could not have had better professors. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. There is something for everyone at Penn State.

Penn State University was the best experience of my life! While the campus felt very big it was actually really small once you found your people. You got to make Penn State what you wanted it to be. I was able to join organizations that were meaningful to me and about lifelong friendship.

I absolutely loved my time at Penn State University. I feel like I got both the social experience and the education experience from Penn State that made it worth it for me. I majored in Art, and while my current career is not in the Arts, I feel like my education was my foundation for my career. Penn State encouraged independent thinking and development that I use daily in my work.
