Beautiful campus, but definitely isolated from LA -- a car is basically necessary to get around Malibu itself. Really great academic opportunities and learned a lot from the GE and major-specific curriculum. Social life/campus life isn't the best -- not a ton of things going on and campus is empty on weekends

Pepperdine University is a unique blend of a beautiful campus and a fantastic education. Due to its small size, I really felt like it gave me opportunities that i would not have been able to have at a larger school, such as getting to participate in research and be published.

My school experience at Pepperdine has changed my life. Even though I have not officially begun my career, the program has forever impacted me on a fundamental level as a human being. The courses are crafted by licensed professionals in the field of clinical psychology. Each of my professors who has led our live Zoom classes has also been licensed. The staff at Pepperdine is very intentional in their communication and guidance along the way, which has been very different from the schools I have attended... Read More

Going to Pepperdine University was one of the best experiences of my life—the community is incredibly supportive, the professors genuinely care about their students, and the campus views over Malibu, California are unreal. I left feeling challenged, inspired, and grateful for the friendships and opportunities that shaped who I am today.

The lack of openmindedness in this program was shocking, considering it is geared toward those who are supposed to be understanding of others. The price is obscene for the material that is gone over. I am almost done with the program and truly wish I had gone to another school. Most classes feel redundant and like you are teaching yourself and the professor uses class time to voice their personal views on the world instead. I am too deep in the program to transfer schools, but I am so displeased... Read More

I chose Pepperdine over other programs because of their reputation but have been incredibly disappointed. It's basically a diploma mill. All of my teachers have been adjunct, several are new graduates themselves with no teaching experience, no license, and little clinical or research experience. The MAP program does not prepare you for doctoral programs and several of my classes won't even transfer. I've only had three doctoral level professors and all of them graduated from Alliant. If you just... Read More

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE. LOOK ELSEWHERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET MUCH FOR THE TIME, EFFORT, AND MONEY YOU'RE REQUIRED TO SPEND FOR THIS PROGRAM. SOME OF THE INSTRUCTORS ARE NOT EVEN QUALIFIED TO TEACH THE MATERIAL.

Pepperdine is an exceptional University. There isn't a bad thing I can say about the school. During my time at Pepperdine I was apart of the Womens soccer team, which gave me a purpose while I was at school. From there I made life long friends and mentors, that I talk to bi-monthly. Pepperdine prides itself in have intimate class sizes that, the largest class being about 100 students, and that was something I really liked. I would always hear my friends from other school say they had auditoriums... Read More

I was interested in their online MBA program, when the Sales rep told me it would cost me $92,000 for the full program I told her it was out of my price range and this Itch hung up on me!!! Until you get better customer service for being an accredited college it just shows your college is nothing more than money hungry and your sales rep is a total retard who needs the education more than I do

The courses offer small student to teacher ratios which allows the student to really engage with the instructor. The professors are really interested in learning about your career goals, research interests, and project ideas. The library staff is quite knowledgeable and can help you navigate the databases to find the right peer reviewed articles for your assignments. The course plan clearly outlined which courses were needed to earn the degree. The career counseling office staff helped me navigate... Read More

Pepperdine is a GREAT and WONDERFUL college! All of my professors were caring and passionate about the subjects that they taught and this translates into students who care and who are passionate about the subjects they study. The school strives for excellence, yet at the same time develops a balanced life. I can not recommend Pepperdine enough for college. Schedule a tour and get to meet some people, they are nice and welcoming.

Beware. This online program requires two workshops in LA. The first of which is a complete drain on your bank account as they choose the hotel and you foot the bill. Additionally the workshop is a complete waste of time. If you like spending 11 hours straight in a kumbaya session with people you dont know. This might be for you. If not you should look elsewhere. The weekend workshop is mandatory if you dont stay for the entire weekend you have to start over another semester. Ridiculous, childish,... Read More

I loved my experience at Pepperdine University. At Pepperdine, I gained an education that prepared me for my graduate studies and challenged me in my intellectual development; I learned to ask better questions, to think deeply and critically, and to manage a variety of responsibilities at the same time. While all of this was valuable, the biggest takeaway from my Pepperdine experience was the community I developed. Through international programs, life in the residence halls, and my work as a Resident... Read More

Pepperdine University so far is doing a fantastic job preparing me for my future career. After graduating with my MBA with an emphasis in entrepreneurship, I plan to work for a luxury brand and then create my own platform for customers to shop for high quality and ethically sourced products. While Pepperdine does not have many connections in fashion, they are still doing a good job preparing me for a strong, ethical future.

Great experience, wonderful network and alumni network. It is a lot of work but very useful in the corporate world. More expensive than your average education but you pay for the name and the prestige and I would say it is worth it
