I would highly consider avoid applying for this program. Instructors do not really teach the material, they are reading off the slides and their lecture does not make sense. The study content is not specific and there is so many vagueness to study. If you attend this PA program, be prepared to study from the class book, USMLE book, watch youtube videos + (instructor power point slides that are useless in regard to how they prepare you as a future provider). Lecture time is useless and waste of time.... Read More

Pfeiffer University is a tiny school about a hour outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. While North Carolina has a number of larger, and more well-known institutions, Pfeiffer has a very well connected Religion department. Classroom are small, with an average of about 15 student. This help creates a warm learning environment, which allows for better connections with staff and faculty. Compared to other university, I was able to eat meals with staff and faculty regularly, allowing to build connections... Read More

It was a small school, and I transferred there from a larger university. Small colleges have a lot more to offer than what students may think - there's more individual attention, relationships that can be easily built with staff and faculty, and many opportunities for leadership and career development.

Almost 20 years out but I still recommend Pfeiffer! The school used to be more secluded and more of a "suitcase" school when I was there because there wasn't much to do around town, but it has grown tremendously and through partnerships with neighboring areas, there are many options! Small enough to get to know people and professors and large enough for your choice of degree, athletics, and living situation! I loved it then and still visit today!

The only financial aid available were student loans and a small stipend in certain classes. No other scholarships or grants were available or made known if they were available.

This program is spoken of very highly in my workplace. Many people have graduated or are working towards graduation in the MBA/MHA program at Pfeiffer University. The online courses are great for the working group and professors are generally understanding of that fact. The Graduate Assistant is great but sometimes hard to get in touch with when questions arise. I am looking forward to finding out more about the trips abroad for class credit.

As a first year graduate school student, I have to say that I have been very pleased with the Pfeiffer Adult graduate program. It caters to students who work full time and have families. I have gotten the support that I need to help me pursue my advanced degree in Health Administration. I would recommend this school to anyone. I also appreciate the small classroom sizes on campus. It makes the learning experience intimate. The only con that I could think of from my graduate school experience is that... Read More

The pros of this graduate program is centered around the needs of the students and the professors seek to administer the help needed to enhance the learning ability of their students. Another major pro of this program is the trips designed to go overseas and see how business is conducted in other areas of the world. A con is the classes are only offered at night and online. I love classroom settings and wish to experience more of the classroom setting.

The pros of Pfeiffer University is giving full-time students the opporunity to seek a Graduate degree program. The classroom sizes are not too big and the professors work with you on a one-on-one basis. Pfeiffer also carries state of the art technology and I was very impressed with their user friendliness. One of the cons I would say Pfeiffer has is not being able to access all of the student based organizations because the main campus is about 2 hours away. Also, our campus in RTP does not offer... Pfeiffer offers a great value for the Raleigh/Triangle area with cohorts at several locations. The downside is sometimes it is difficult to get pertinent information quickly from the main campus. They do get back to you eventually, but phone calls nd emails are not as effective as face to face

Classes are interactive and the professors are amenable and readily available. Social aspect is lacking compared to other more traditional Graduate schools, but overall quality of education and sociability are quite good.
