I just wanted to send a heads up to enrolled students requiring financial aid verification. If you have to verify multiple student aid years be careful the documents are identical and when you mail the original documents to the school send them in separate envelopes. So, I paid to have two aid years notarized and sent them back to the school in the same envelope and they told me I was not allowed to do this and they disregarded the second letter because they were identical and they could not tell them apart. They also couldn't send me my original document back because they were identical. This upset me because I called to verify that they were giving identical documents and they did not inform me to send the documents back separately or have them labeled. I had to notarize one of the documents again. All I am saying is stop confusing students and give them all the information up front when they call in confused. I partly blame myself for not writing something on the document in front of the notary to separate them.

If your professor talks to you on the phone, send a follow-up email documenting the conversation because they will claim they told you things that they did not.
