Roosevelt University and the Chicago College of Performing Arts has provided me with many opportunities in Opera performance. I have loved attending this university.

I believe Roosevelt University's Vocal Performance Master's program is both nurturing and challenging. The teachers are incredibly knowledgable, considering many of them have had careers as vocal professionals. They're not too keen on handing out ample scholarship money. As a graduate student, I would NOT recommend living in the dorms in the Wabash Building. Trust me, if you're going to grad school, you've outgrown undergraduate shenanigans.

The music facilities are beautiful, but the university should be doing more to help one of their most prestigious programs, as with CCPA. Although it is worth it, the tuition is expensive, and scholarship opportunities are limited. Overall, I am extremely happy with my experience at Roosevelt... Read More
