It was a good experience, too easy for me, high school was harder, I do recommend the college to anyone who would like to peruse a business degree. I was also interested in getting into à sorority but that did not work out for me. The college has become more tech which I love.

As a state school, Rowan University allowed me to feel like I was “away for college, but still be within 2 hours of my home. It was a great campus that was always improving. I felt my classes were all rigorous enough to prepare me for my future career, while never consuming me with stress.

The mathematics program is a wonderful experience for students hoping to continue in academia or to go into industry. The campus and department is growing, so experiences from prior students may not be exactly what to expect. However, the faculty are involved and encourage every student to get involved

The engineering program allowed students to make connections with real companies and also allowed us to make real world applications. The faculty is always ready to help whether it’s class related or about your future career path. I graduated with 2 patents thanks to their outreach programs.

Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, is a well regarded public research university known for its strong academic programs, supporting professors, and growing campus. Students there really like that the class sizes are not to large and the faculty is very approachable, the environment feels more friendly and personalized, the professors were very helpful. The tuition costs are low and the facilities were recently updated and the campus is very nice.

I think the school was solid. I am factoring in that tuition is inexpensive compared to other schools in the tri-state area. I felt that business school taught me what I needed to know in college; I had some good professors that I appreciated, and I was able to land an internship and later a job with my degree.

Rowan University is a fantastic, walkable campus. There is much to do in surrounding areas and it is nearby a major city. However, I am disappointed in the curriculum in my field of study. As a Radio/TV/Film major, I had to take many pre-requisites. These involve math, history, science, non-related electives, etc. that had nothing to do with my major. I missed out on several classes within my major that could have given me more experience, and had to repeat classes that I had taken throughout high... Read More

I enjoyed my time at Rowan University. I felt that the classes were small which allowed professors to provide more personal guidance than larger schools with huge lecture halls. I also felt the engineering program was well developed and prepared me well for my career.

Rowan is a good school, and I am glad I attended. It is cheap, and was fairly local to me. It was a very good school for education. Also, my friends that were engineers said that their program was also excellent. The campus is big enough not to be cramped, but not overwhelmingly huge. It's also always improving with new facilities and upgrades.

This has to be the worst school. I am a student that has a disability and I would avoid this school. Parking is terrible and will continue to get worse. Even though this college is putting up more buildings, they are not building any more parking lots. As for campus security, they do nothing and would rather write parking tickets. Most of the teachers and staff i have met are rude and do not want to teach or help their students be successful. Do not believe the lies the administration tells you.... Read More

RowanSOM offers a great medical program. They have an abundance of resources and they do a fantastic job of selecting a well-rounded student body. The curriculum is tailored well for board exams during second year. They have a pass/fail grading system as well as non-mandatory classes. This is super helpful as it saves hundreds of hours.

This college has a wonderful and supportive staff that helps students throughout the process of obtaining their degree. The classes in the Music department were great in preparing students for a future career as music teachers, performers, and a variety of special degree programs. You will receive a great education.

I loved Rowan University. I went there from September 2015 to December 2018, and I walked in May 2019. During my time there, I really found my place. It is the perfect size; big enough to have ample opportunities but small enough that you are not just a number. You are able to make connections and join clubs, and soon enough it will feel like a second home.

This school is a whole entire mess! The only thing its good for is the career fairs! 1/2 of the professors do NOT care about the students, its all about the numbers ($)! Parking is a big issue and its ridiculous that they wont address it but continues to suggest we pay $140 for a parking permit when there is clearly no parking. A friend of mine overheard 2 over the top professors that run the L&J dept saying that they need to figure out how to get more out of the students as if the $75 parking tickets... Read More

This school was absolute trash. I went to rowan from Fall 2016-Summer 2018 and it was the worst school I have been to hands down. The campus is nice and some of the dorms are nice and new, however, nobody is willing to help ever. I had changed majors a year into my degree and they had me seeing 3 different advisors telling me to take 3 different plans to graduate. My freshman year we did not have the opportunity to change our schedules, so pretty much what they gave you is what you got. I was "requires"... Read More

Rowan University was a terrific school for engineer majors back when I was attending. The engineer program was very tough and had many real world problems presented for projects. Most of the teachers were very knowledgeable of their subject matter and wanted their students to succeed while simultaneously pushing everyone with difficult course work and loads. Such a great program! Really hands on experience with very small class sizes. I loved having the opportunity to work in studios, learning various techniques and different art mediums while also being able to be in classrooms. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in the field of art education. Since I've graduated, the campus has really evolved in a positive way. There are so many restaurants, new dorms, shops, bookstores, even hotels.

Rowan University is a great school. Classes I would say are no more than 30 students. The Professors I had in the Sociology program were great. They were always willing to help and they encouraged their students to go out and help people/causes in your local community or world. They have clubs that also go along with your major so you can meet other people with the same interest and ambitions as you. For me the sociology program gave me insight in working with disadvantaged individuals which later... Read More
