I had a good experience at Rutgers. Some of the classes in the academic program did not apply to me but the program emphasized connections and internships, which was ultimately the reason I was able to take the next step and get a job out of college, so I am thankful to my program for that.

Rutgers was a great place to learn and explore. It afforded me with a lot to opportunities I would have not had going to a smaller school. Speaking to the academics, Rutgers is an R1 institution that attracts world class researchers and students. It was very challenging (in a positive way) to be surrounded by dedicated and brilliant individuals.

Rutgers was a great university to attend. The campus is huge and has many opportunities for its students. For the nursing program, I felt adequately prepared to take my board examinations at the end even though my studies were interrupted by COVID at the time. I made lifelong friends going to Rutgers and don’t regret it!

I went to Rutgers University for my undergraduate degree. I attended from 2016 to 2020. Overall, I had gained invaluable experience during my time there. My university is quite large with over 60,000 students attending. There was classes provided for people with all types of interests, including a class based on Beyonce. For the larger classes that we had, chemistry as an example, there were about 400 students to a class. In order to give people extra time, for classes this large there was smaller... Read More

My time at Rutgers University was one of the best times of my life. Not only did it provide me with a great education, but I learned invaluable life lessons and skills along the way. The education was rigorous. The professors were great. Being an honors student all throughout high school, Rutgers provided the challenge I needed. Upon graduating, I quickly realized how well regarded being a Rutgers graduate was. My education was an investment that paid off. Not only did attending Rutgers provide me... Read More

Rutgers is known as the school that most Jersey kids go to. It's a "good school" but not prestigious enough. The students love to party during the weekends. Those are the most common things that I would hear before I attended Rutgers. It certainly isn't the most enticing sales pitch but it's a good, affordable school for NJ residents to attend so there I went. I only attended the university for two years. However, I will say that I easily loved those two years. Rutgers was such a nurturing experience... Read More

Rutgers provides a diverse range of courses with excellent professors. I felt engaged in the material provided in the courses in the lectures that I attended, and was in an environment where I felt comfortable asking for help with any topics I didn’t grasp. The campus environment is pleasant, with several large campuses that are very walkable with great scenery. The cafeterias are nice with plenty of food options to choose from. My peers were pleasant to be around, with lots of friendly and open-minded... Read More

I recently graduated from Rutgers and overall I had a really positive experience there. One of the best parts was being around so many different people from all kinds of backgrounds. It made the campus feel welcoming and gave me the chance to meet people I probably never would have otherwise.
The professors I had were knowledgeable and a lot of them genuinely wanted students to do well. If you showed effort and asked for help, most were willing to work with you. I also liked that Rutgers offers so... Read More
Campus life was fun too. There was always something going on, whether it was clubs, events, sports, or just hanging out with friends between classes. It never felt boring and there was allways something to do if you wanted to get involved.
I also feel like Rutgers prepared me well for life after college. I learned a lot in my major, but I also got better at managing my time, working with different people, and handling responsibility. Those things matter just as much.
Overall, I’m really glad I chose Rutgers. It had its stressful moments like any school, but looking back it was worth it and I made alot of great memories there.

Rutgers was a great place to go to school. It's a huge school, which might sound intimidating, but what that really means is that you have access to lots of different programs and can take classes in lots of fields. There is so much beyond the classroom, too. You can join clubs, watch sports, etc. I loved my time there and would recommend it to anyone.

Rutgers has a large campus and a variety of activities suited for all kinds of students. The professors are all well accomplished and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Because of how many students are enrolled, it is hard for these professors to keep track of all students' progress. It's important for students to take the initiative and go to class, go to office hours, and overall become more involved on campus to get the most of their college experience.

My experience at this institution has been incredibly rewarding so far. The faculty members are genuinely invested in students success, often going above and beyond to provide mentorship outside outside of standard lecture hours. While the workload is challenging, the campus resources-like the modern library and various career services-make it manageable i've also found a great community through students organization, which has made the transition to college life much smoother. I would highly recommend... Read More

Rutgers New Brunswick was my "back up school" that I ended up attending full-time.. and I have absolutely no regrets. Rutgers has allowed me to graduate with little to no school debt due to great in-state tuition pricing and landed me at a top tier company where I am doing professionally well. While some may find the many campuses at Rutgers overwhelming, I loved the large environment and different atmospheres that each campus brought - it felt like I was attending many schools all at once. Rutgers is a great in-state University, but I would stay away from Rutgers if you don't plan on actively engaging in binge drinking every weekend. Also, going to school here is very difficult for out-of-state students because you'll be around mostly in-state students who come in with an established group of friends. Rutgers is also perfectly situated between NY and Philadelphia which is a great way to escape on the weekly.

I originally picked this college because i was undecided but leaning towards engineering. so i thought that if I decided not to do engineering, I wouldn’t have to transfer and i could just switch my major. I met a lot of people that i could relate to that I didn’t really get back in my hometown. I joined varies clubs, like salsa club, bachata club, sign language club, and Society of Hispanic engineers. Student life on campus was great, with so many clubs, organizations, activities, and events to participate in. I had a really great overall experience. Academically, it offers passionate professors who actually care about teaching and keeping students engaged. Outside the classroom, the campus has a ton of energy from sports events to a strong fraternity scene. It’s also a great value for in-state students, since you’re getting a strong education without an insane price tag. Food was better than I expected and getting between campuses was pretty easy thanks to the organized transportation system.
