This was a great school to attend, especially for the nursing program. It was certainly rigorous, but I graduated very well prepared to enter the working world. I felt extremely supported throughout my four years, which was a highlight of my experience. Despite the TBSN program being inherently intense, I had great professors, access to a retention specialist when I needed additional support, and classmates who were not focused on competing against one another. This is not always the case when it... Read More

I am in a bit of a unique situation, as I am a part of a direct admit physical therapy program. This means that when I applied to SLU for my undergraduate schooling, I also applied to the physical therapy program at SLU. Because of this set up, my senior year of undergraduate school was simultaneously my first year of graduate school-- undergrad courses had to be completed before this point. I have just about completed my first year of grad school, even though I have only attended school for 4 years.... Read More

SLU was a great fit for me as a graduate student. The health sciences campus is separate from the undergraduate campus and allows for a professional school feel. SLU's Doisy college is also next to SLU hospital, allowing for a short walk to my clinical rotations and experiences. The staff in the dietetics department are fantastic with regards to their knowledge, commitment and accessibility to my educational needs.

Saint Louis University is a warm and inclusive institution. It has demonstrated this in its promotion of community service as well as awareness of social and cultural issues that impact many urban areas in our nation today. The overwhelming empathy for all people in our community makes me a proud student of Saint Louis University and empowers me to be more a empathic neighbor, student, and human.

St. Louis University is a great school that offers small class size and knowledgeable professors. I completed two degrees at the same time, sociology and criminal justice. The caliber of the students and the opportunities to bond formed lifelong connections for me. The only thing I saw a problem with is the available parking. The school is located in an area that is a little underfunded and can be a bit scary and dangerous, however, the campus itself is like a city within a city. Everything you need... Read More

College is a great opportunity to learn how to learn as well as study in depth a subject of interest. I have a science degree, and pairing the sciences with another area is a great way to stretch yourself.

A great private Catholic Jesuit institution that caters to the growth and development of the whole person. I have learned so much from my professors and my peers. I am grateful for the many opportunities to network and grow. This place is a home away from home. I truly recommend applying to SLU. They take pride in us, students.

Saint Louis University is a wonderful campus with diverse, motivated, and extremely creative students. My major specifically, had instructors with lots of background in the field of Health Management and Public Health. I believe that many of the relationships I made on campus with my fellow students and faculty had the greatest impact on my experience. However, the school claims to make the education affordable for all students and create student success. This is false. Students get very little,... Read More

SLU's Jesuit mission permeates teachings in the classroom, extracurricular activities, and student life. The school places high value on diversity of background and opinion, challenging students to step outside of their comfort zones to serve and understand people from different walks of life. This program not only taught me to be an excellent professional in the field of athletic training, but it also showed me how to be a competent, compassionate, and conscious human being. Although the monetary cost of this education is high, I would recommend this program to anyone who feels that the above mentioned values are of importance

It was a good school and I learned a lot that has been applicable in my career. I have not found the degree from this particular school to be very powerful in the market place and I probably would go somewhere else if I were to do it again.
