Other than my experience with attendance being more important than grades for aid requirements... (A&B honor roll) I've enjoyed my professors, genuinely. They've been so supportive and encouraging throughout my time at strayer. Though I had the confidence in myself to tackle the curriculum I had so many personal stressors pop up all at once it seemed, and they are the only reasons I kept at it, they saw I did the study plan and didn't mark me off any for being unable to be part of the interactive... I enjoyed my time at Strayer. Because all classes were online I didn't feel as connected with my professor and classmates but that's to be expected. I didn't feel the work was very challenging but I did learn a lot. Since graduating I have been promoted on my job and I intend on starting Strayer's Masters Program soon.

Admissions is easy and the information that the professors teach you is the latest information out there. They make these classes easy to attend especially for those who have families or full time jobs. The professors make themselves avaliable to you if you ever need to speak to them or review your work

I was previously enrolled in another university before attending Strayer. It was also online and there just wasn't the amount of help and engagement I wanted from a university. Strayer excelled I'm that area. The professors were excellent and always aiming to help you ASAP. The ease of the online campus and getting around was also a plus. I had to sadly withdraw due to work and life but if I could go back to finish my last two years, it would be back to Strayer.

Strayer is expensive, but they offer some majors that are very interesting to working adults that you don't find at state schools. I am in purchasing so the BBA with a focus in Contracts and Acquisitions was great for me. I learned a lot. The assignments made you think through what you learned and find ways to apply it, so you weren't just regurgitating information. Degrees are definitely earned at Strayer. Teachers will work with you when life gets in the way. I truly enjoyed my time at Strayer.... Read More

If you have limited time and resources to go to school, this is the school for you. I'd be wary of their FA team, they are NEVER on the same page.
Some of the benefits are that classes are 11 weeks long. They focus on discussion and projects so you get real life experience. You are able to transfer existing credits, and you get a free subscription to Sofia, where you can take some gen eds free, saving you money in the process. You also get credit for every three classes you take that go towards a... Read More
They say they are "accesible" but I don't think they are that inclusive. I am non verbal, and it was difficult for me to get assistance with any issues I had , like with Financial aid, because there is no way to chat with that office, you HAVE to call. You can send them an email, but they don't always respond at a reasonable time.

Strayer University was a very pleasant school to attend online. The help and support was one call away. The teachers were amazing online. If there was an issue the teachers were available. It was easy to study my assignment and access my work with no problem. I would encourage anyone who is looking to go to school online to check out Strayer University.

All in all, my experience so far has been awful. Teachers are hit or miss, way too much emphasis on route book work rather than actual learning.
The labs are all outdated, and everything is hilariously old school in their explanation. It feels very behind and frankly, a waste of time.
Student loan department is a joke and doesn't know how their own services work. I've been told four different things by the same department regarding a student loan issue I have. And my coach is next to useless.

The IT classes aren't bad, if only outdated. However, every single other class is a joke and you can't adjust your schedule to ensure you're taking classes you need. They just care about the credit hours. I'll apparently finish my IT degree having only taken 1 programming class! Most class grades rely on "Discussion Posts" that have little to do with what the class is about. Then you had better make sure you write a whole paragraph or two for their one-sentence question, then a paragraph or more... Read More

I still can't find a job. I called Strayer because they said once you graduate you can call them for job recommendations I have yet to hear back from them. I graduated with my Bachelors from this place and still no help. I would have liked this school if it didn't full your head up with lies

This is the worst scoop to attend. I spent $160,000 to get a bachelors and masters. I t has not helped me at all. I can’t find a job anywhere l. I’m ashamed to have attended this school. I have to put this on my resume. The counselors assign your classes without you knowledge. All they want is your financial aid money. No one really checks on you. I should have attended a state college that has more respect.

I attended Strayer University for about 4 years half-time. As an adult learner this school worked to obtain a degree. I would say don’t attend this University for a 4 year degree all four years. If you want to obtain an Associate's degree, Bachelor’s degree, or Master degree fine just don’t go here for 4 years straight. The price of this University is way too high. Some of the professors and the curriculum was 50/50 meaning everything was mid-level depending on the course!

This school sounds like a really good school but please read the reviews from other students and attend at your own risk! My sister attended the school before strayer classes were free and finished her degree in four years. I attend and even though I'm passing classes and taking free Sophia classes I still have 14 classes left after four years. My sister only took two classes a quarter and yet still finished within four years, I take three classes a course because I add a Sophia class and my graduation... Read More

Strayer University was the first college to contact me when I came out of rehab in 2022. I needed something to be proud of for myself since I had just gone through one of the lowest points of my life, followed immediately by the best choice of my life--checking into a mental hospital and then choosing inhouse rehab. I had been out of school for 29 years when I decided to enroll at Strayer. I had wanted to pursue a degree in psychology but Strayer does not off any degrees in psychology, therefore... Read More

Classes are mad expensive compared to other universities I've been to and for no reason at that. I think the curriculum Is trash. Not much learning going on when professors are using the same exact assignments every semester with answers that are easily found by using Google. Literally for every assignment. They don't offer too many good programs. Overall it's a good school to waste money and while trying to get through a bachelor's program as quick as possible just to say you did.

My degrees has not helped at all. It was a waste of time and money. No promotions or nothing. I’m very embarrassed that I went to this educational facility. Do not got hear. They want your financial aid money. The deans are always changing. I should have went to a public college, they are expensive. Take my word for it.

I attended Strayer for only two semesters. In that time I completed 18 credits. The courses are insanely easy, including Sophia, which only requires a 70 to pass, no challenge, no real education. It did not take me long to discover that this was a diploma mill business. The discussion boards are filled with....well you'll see....people asking when they'll get their disbursement checks, asking for money to pay their rent, asking to add people on IG and face book to "hang out". I am a vet that decided to pivot to IT during the pandemic after some financial setbacks and other life problems. The VA pushed out the VRRAP program and I am very thankful for this as my other military benefits were exhausted. I am able to relax a little while I earn my degree from home, but I am not gullible! I just put a sock in it and "kept my head down" once I realized I was thrown into the trap. I am not dumb, I understand and it has been made clear that Strayer University is a for-profit institution.... Read More
