I enjoyed the school, but also found myself bored. The location itself is in Laredo where there isn't much to do for fun. The faculty and staff were amazing, everyone was always helpful and they were wonderful mentors. As far as the students on campus, people were friendly but I don't feel like there was a variety. Everyone felt local and it was difficult to connect with others.

I had a great time in there. The university has devoted staff, best facilities and conducive environment for learning. The curriculum and co-curriculum skills I gained and developed while there have been of essence to me. Through interactions while at the University I have been able to build very desirable interpersonal skills.

My practicum was lacking in content and structure. A high-level class was cancelled. I did not feel prepared to enter into my career field overall. There are some wonderful professors who will support you in different ways, but overall, I don鈥檛 feel that my 30-year-debt is worth the education I received.

This school is an amazing school. It is very diverse. The instructors are very knowledgeable and consistent. their learning management system is easy to navigate. You can always reach a real person when you need to while the instructors have posted business hours sometimes they will respond to you outside of those hours and when they do respond, they are very detailed. They care about your well-being as an overall person and not just a student.

i liked my university because it was a very good environment, people always are in good mood and they always try to help, all the advisors and professors are nice and are really trying to teach students, i am very grateful and i really had a nice experience there.

My professors at TAMIU were great and were very open to students asking them and visiting their offices for advice, questions, or just to talk. The university itself has a great atmosphere, with animals roaming the school grounds. Plenty of space to study, lots of events that occur during the year. The college is also growing and expanding it's facilities every year.

I learned writing skills in this college and my professor was very helpful

I really enjoyed my time at Texas A&M. The campus has a lot of traditions that create a sense of community with current and former students, which has proven beneficial in future career endeavors.

Low tuition fee with good faculty and infrastructure and could help to get a better job opportunities

Teachers are not as considerate as I hoped for. Lack of communication was apparent. Educational material was good. Teachers were a hit or miss

It's a good school but I wish there were more job openings for my field. If you go for comm disorders plan to go to grad school because you will not find a job with just your bachelor's. The school overall is good. Teachers are good and you do learn.

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is such a great university where you will be sure to meet different people from various backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. The TAMIU community is consists of a tight-knit group of people that gladly welcomes new comers. No matter what degree you pursue, you are guaranteed to get a great, quality education at a fraction of the cost of most other universities.

This program gives you a background of the Spanish Literature represented by the professor from different countries such as Mexico, South America, and Spain. All the professor help to strive for more and achieve your academic goals. Nevertheless, TAMIU offers a lot of personal and professional opportunities to reach your goals.

I learned a lot during the course of my student career. My professors were more than helpful when I was confused, and I found that it was insightful to take all the courses needed for my English degree. I enjoyed my time with my classmates as well, and some of us have become life-long friends. The degree program was challenging, but no one in Texas A&M gives up on you. It is a great experience.

This graduate program is done online with really dedicated professors who share their professional experience. Moreover, the criminal justice graduate program is invigorating, as well as engaging even though it is distance education. The only misfortune of distance education is the face to face contact with professors; however, one can reach them through email or other technological devices such as facetime.

Pros: Affordability and Accessibility. For the cost, you receive quality education from professors that are truly experts in their fields and that are accessible to students. Cons: The city of Laredo may not have diversity or social life options, but the University offers diversity because of it's international component.
