The school is incredible, I love it. I am in my last class than I will have earned, in every sense of something earned, a master’s in HRM next month. Sure I have student debt, but, I also have a masters in HRM, which only 10% of the population has in a field which is growing exponentially. As with any college, college is not for everyone. There is a reason only 50% of the workforce have at least an associates. You have to be disciplined and actually want to learn and earn while doing it. College... Read More is not for the lazy. This has always been the case with college. If you cannot manage yourself and be disciplined, than college may not be an option for you. Compared to other colleges, this college cares about you. Unlike a community college or cookie cutter college, I need not mention names, this college does care about your progress as long as you put in the effort. Colleges which are free under pell grant award are designed to make students fail. Some colleges are not regionally accredited (the highest level of accreditation), Ashford does not design their courses to fail, is standardized, and is regionally accredited. They are also a very large college with a large footprint as well. The majority of my classmates are female. I have found that Ashford does have traditional students in some locations in a traditional brick and mortar school they have acquired, but most are online. Perfect if you have to work, perfect if you have kids, and also you only take 1 class at a time which is very refreshing. My accolades are as follows: •Masters in HRM (Fully Online), Expected Graduation: February 2020, 4.0 GPA • BA in Human Resource Management at Ashford University, 3.97 GPA • Three AAS in Office Management, Office Technology, and Executive Assisting, 3.76 GPA • 9 Certificates of Completion in Office Technology and Office Management.

Pros of this program are the careers and job positions that will be available to me once graduating and while a student. The courses all for the student to learn how to develop an organization, how to develop strategic plans to operate their organization, how to recruit quality employees and how to appraise employees, business plans and or tactics implemented within the work place in order to assure a successful, safe and productive work environment. Read More of reading and work into six weeks for each course, the assignments are extremely time-consuming and you have to withhold a 3.0 G.P.A for the Satisfactory Academic Progress evaluation. If not, then you are placed on academic probation and face possible dismissal from the university.
