It was a rigorous ABSN program with highly skilled instructors. Despite being only one year in length I feel it prepared one adequately to enter the nursing career leveraging the experience one had from prior job experiences. It was expensive and perhaps one felt a little overly expensive seeing as though the typical ABSN student did not make use of all the University offerings a typical student would.

The University of Tennessee was a great school for me to attend because it provided a strong academic foundation while also offering real opportunities to grow outside the classroom. The campus environment encouraged involvement, networking, and leadership, which helped me develop both personally and professionally.
Being at Tennessee also helped my career by exposing me to valuable resources such as career fairs, internship opportunities, and connections with alumni and employers. The experience... Read More

UTK is a fantastic school with a vibrant and nurturing environment. It's experiencing tremendous growth across all departments and disciplines, which means no matter what you study, state-of-the-art innovations and resources will be available to you. You also won't find a better student life anywhere. From game days to student organizations to just the peers in your classes, you will find "your people."
However, it does have some downsides. Parking and housing are pretty impossible to navigate, although... Read More

I enjoyed the school and the curriculum. The staff was supportive in my studies. The teachers were professional and the courses were useful. Sometimes there was a lot going on on campus, but overall my time at the university was good. I would definitely want my kids to attend there as well.

The community of students, professors, and staff were great! Lots of cool events and great courses. However, there was one new professor who me and my peers reported due to the lack of professionalism and revealed incompetence. The department was aware, but there were no extra measures taken except promoted him in a different department. This was quite frustrating.

I had a lot of fun during my time at UTK. I got to experience a wide variety of different classes and structures that I believe will aid me in my career moving forward. I met a lot of cool people who I've stayed in touch with and have become good friends with.

The University of Tennessee at Knoxville offers a wonderful experience for all types of students. I appreciated that ,within my major, I had a wide variety of classes to choose from to meet my requirements. This allowed me to tailor my educational experience to what I wanted and take classes that fit my goals and interests.

Degree: Construction Management
The construction management program at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville is a somewhat young program. I had a total of 3 professors who rotated and taught all the construction classes. This was good to build a relationship with the professors, but it held back my learning because their actual construction experience was not a lot. I think as the program grows and gains more traction the experience will come. Lastly, I do recommend it because it has a 100% job placement.

I had an overall positive experience within my major (music) and even met some good professors outside the music building, but the university's bureaucracy was challenging at mulitiple points during my academic journey. My car was towed in the first two weeks that I was there, for parking lot resurfacing. That was a week before the start of the semester, and the only kids in the neighboring dorm were the marching band students like me. They should have come to the rehearsal and let us know, right?... I really loved attending the University of Tennessee. The campus is beautiful with a view of the smoky mountains, the city is small and big at the same time, the sports culture is unmatched, and the academics are very respectable. Now that I am graduated and moved away, I still wish I was in Knoxville so I could enjoy the overall vibe and attend more sporting events.

I enjoyed my time at UTK. Unfortunately, COVID occurred during my education so we switched to fully online or hybrid learning. Some classes were not prepared for this style of teaching but they did their best. Classes were appropriately challenging except for professors who had thick accents. I would recommend UT to anyone.

It's a great school that set me up for success. Overall well-rounded, great faculty and staff, great things to do, etc. Football, baseball, basketball, tennis, and many other sports are a blast to attend. For activities outside of the school, there are great things to do like go hiking and hanging out at multiple locations downtown.

I was very pleased with my time at UT. The campus is beautiful, the school is very friendly and close. Coming from out of state, I was a little worried at how welcoming everyone would be, but I loved it. I made new friends, learned lots of new things and was still close enough to home where I could visit or have family visit me often.

My time at The University of Tennessee was engaging, challenging and full of opportunities to grow as an individual to prepare me for the real world. As a transfer student coming into my junior year it was hard to jump in initially and get involved. As a graduate student at the university of Tennessee, Knoxville, I’ve found my experience mostly positive. Many students are of the notion that faculty are supportive and willing to help, and the programs offer solid research and professional opportunities. The workload can be heavy sometimes and stressful especially when trying to balance classes within research and teaching, and issues like housing and campus construction can be frustrating. Overall, UTK provides strong academics and a supportive... Read More

I am submitting this review anonymously due to a genuine fear of retaliation, which itself reflects the environment at UT Law.
My experience has been marked by an unsupportive community, accessibility issues, and poorly organized courses. Several professors were inaccessible, dismissive, or outright rude when asked for help, and many emphasized abstract theory with little to no practical legal experience or real-world application.
Course organization was consistently weak, with unclear expectations... Read More
I regret my decision to attend UT Law. Prospective students should carefully consider whether they are comfortable in a program with limited support, weak accessibility, and a lack of practical, well-structured instruction.

Overall a great school. I enjoyed my time there. The campus environment and community was great during my time there. They have recently made a lot of upgrades to the campus which would improve the student experience. Classes and programs were well rounded but could be improved to reflect current work and career environments.

I earned my PhD in the XYZ department (not disclosing which department or exactly during which years to maintain my anonymity and protect myself). I will also say that I am writing this review with a level head and calm attitude at a certain period of time after I earned my degree. I learned a few things along the way. For one, the undergrads seem to have a decent thing going for them. Unfortunately, the grad students are generally swept under the rug and have to fend for themselves. Very few of... Read More

The social work school is horrible. They can be extremely stuck up. Multiple times I have been belittled and treated poorly for asking questions about my field placement or for asking questions in regards to a grade that was inappropriately placed but eventually was fixed.
