The school was okay. There was not much to do in the areas surrounding it unfortunately. They did have a nice coffee shop near campus and a game room that was fun to hangout in. I enjoyed the sports programs and made a lot of great friends there. The campus was also pretty small and easy to navigate.

My experience in Tiffin University’s online Psychology program has honestly been really solid. The classes were easy to follow, the platform was simple to navigate, and the flexibility made it possible to juggle school with work and family without feeling overwhelmed. The professors were surprisingly engaged for an online program, they actually responded, gave helpful feedback, and made the discussions feel like real conversations instead of just posting because we had to.

Tiffin University was a great school. They offer a variety of degrees and different fields of study, both on-campus and online. The professors cared about the students and wanted them to succeed. The only downside is the lack of job placement. I graduated a while ago and still have not been able to find a job in my field of study. However, if you like a small-town feel and a campus that is not overrun with students, and professors see you as a person, then this is the school for you.

Tiffin University's online Master of Science in psychology program is comprehensive and highly useful. While it does not prepare the graduate for a career as a therapist, it gives you a clear understanding of scientific psychology. Professors will gladly work with you and maintain contact throughout the term via email; you're not just a name on a screen, you become someone real in their lives as they're real in yours. The strongest points of the program are the research design and statistics courses.... Read More

I enjoyed my experience although I would have strongly preferred more diversity among faculty. What positively stands out is how much TU relies on student feedback. In an online discussion forum hosted by a professor no subject was off-limits. One student typed about a different professor who she felt was making things overly difficult and acting as if his/her class was the only one students were taking. I was surprised she brought up a colleague of our professor's in the forum and wondered if this... Read More

Keep looking. This university does not take their students seriously. Be prepared to be singled out and bullied. Some instructors care and want their students to succeed, while others prefer to be difficult and judgmental. Sarcasm does not belong in the classroom. You deserve better. Good luck.

I needed an online program, and Tiffin offered an MH in English at an affordable rate. I am writing this review 1 year after graduation. I am an English teacher going into my 5th year of teaching. This degree has increased my earning potential and is allowing me to pursue an online PhD in Education. I highly recommend this program for teachers as it is helpful and recognized in our field. I loved the professors; I do believe the courses have made me better in my field.

This online degree provides a level of flexibility around work schedules and other various daily activities. The workload is reasonable, with each class requiring on average about 15 hours per week of your time. Despite this course being an online environment, there is consistent interaction with fellow students. Instructors provide material to facilitate learning and create an effective learning environment. Instructors provide constructive feedback on all assignments and generally post grades in... I began studying at Tiffin for the fall semester of 2017. As the university seems to offer a good quality of academics, I may not continue attending after January 2018. For this to be an online graduate degree program it is not very flexible at all to working adults with lives. Before the awkward judgement comes, yes I know it is a Master's program with deadlines like any brick and mortar degree. Any graduate degree worth the financial and mental investment should be rigorous of course. However,... Read More

Tiffin University had an amazing online collaborative and easy to use academic learning experience. The professors were engaging and group conversations were informative and comprehensive. The financial aid department was horrible to deal with as the employees would never get back to you. Other than that, it was a smooth program that developed high caliber information to the student.

Tiffin University is a smaller campus that promotes student awareness and curriculum based practices. The staff really gets to know their students and it is enjoyable to go to a class where the teacher truly wants to be there. The instructors make sure to bring real life experiences to the classroom and ask the students to build on those experiences and relate situations or opportunities to them. The campus is a very safe campus with campus security as well as the student night watch constantly patrolling... Read More

Tiffin University has been a very rewarding experience so far and I'm happy I chose them for my Master's program. It's hard having a full-time job and still trying to go to school. Their online classes are convenient and well-worth it. I've learned so much, so quickly, and the professors there are very understanding and knowledgeable. They love providing extensive information and provide you with the proper resources to succeed. I look forward to graduating knowing I've had the best professors on... Read More

If you are looking to further your education after your undergraduate studies in criminal justice then Tiffin University online is the place to be. When I started my graduate program at Tiffin, I was challenged but not overworked with the course load. Having already worked 28 years in law enforcement I had seen a lot, and probably had more "real life" experience than my classmates, but I still felt that there was plenty left to learn from the courses they had to offer. I wasn't disappointed. The... Read More

Unfortunately the program does not offer any scholarships or grants for graduate students, even based upon higher GPA's. But communication between professors and students are always open and feedback is consistently provided. I value the education I am getting and work hard for it. There is always encouragement from professors that is not demeaning but insightful. The school is accredited and the quality of work and expectations are what I would expect of a graduate program. I attended Tiffin University after enrolling in its online Fast Track Degree Completion program from 2006 to 2008. I transitioned from in-class studies after completing my first course to distance learning because of the convenience of studying at home, eliminating the necessity to commute in Cleveland's inclement winter weather, along with the need to deal with my late night work hours. The pros of going to school at Tiffin University are the cost of life which is very inexpensive in that area. Academic support is very good, because it is a small school most professors take time to follow each student. People are nice and polite. The cons are it is not very diverse both the school staff and the students. Excellent structure to the online program and access to instructors. Also, my graduate counselor was top notch. The school doesn't have much name recognition, so I have a lot of explaining to do when I talk to people about "where I go to school".
