Financial aid was set up. Everything paid for. Started week 1 of coursework. Then I'm notified that because of my background check, my enrollment is canceled. This stems from an incident over 8 years ago. My main issue is that, why wouldn't they have the background check complete before allowing financial aid agreements to be signed and before allowing a student to begin their coursework? Absolutely ridiculous. Total waste of time & energy.

I stumbled upon Ultimate Medical Academy at the biggest turning point in my life and I am so happy I added yet another thing I was going to change. I did not graduate college the first time I attended a local junior college. I didn't love my major it was hard to stay engaged in the classes, and I decided not to attend my second year.
Now 9 years later, with major life changes already happening, it was time to get educated and start a career. However over those 9 years at lot had changed and I now... Read More
Through my time here at UMA I have taken many helpful courses, not just for skills in the medical field, like computer and career success! My instructors have been very helpful and there are multiple ways to reach out to them, and if you can't schedule a time with them, there is another option! A really wonderful part of the UMA team is academic services, where you can be connected with other instructors who teach the same class. So there is always someone available to help. My advisors have been so amazing and helpful as well, no question is a bad question for your advisors, they really are just here to see you succeed.
It's not all smooth sailing though, the courses are challenging, you really have to put effort into them. However isn't that what an education is for? To push yourself, to better yourself?
I am so happy that I chose UMA for my education, and I am proud to say that I am making the right moves in my life. Thank you UMA, for all your help in bettering me as a person.

This is a great school, very people oriented and friendly, they make sure to reach out and check up on you as much as possible. Submitting work is a breeze and being able to retake failed assignments was a blessing! I highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to continue their education in the medical field and I will most likely be coming back myself when I’m ready to complete my associates degree!

I can sincerely say that UMA has been a beacon in my life. Attending school online has truly been a transformative experience for me. I’ve had the flexibility to take my assignments with me, especially during the times when I’m frequently hospitalized. My advisor and professors have shown incredible understanding, and as a result, I’m excelling and maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or better. If you're seeking to enhance your lifestyle and knowledge in the health field, UMA is definitely the right choice.... Read More

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with UMA. This was my first time in an actual college environment and and I consider myself pleased. The option to attend my classes 100% online made me available to be a stay at home mom to my daughter. It also helped me enjoy my pregnancy which took up most of my school time. I look forward to pursuing a career shortly after my baby is born.

I am not the traditional student. I am 52 and have adult children and grandchildren. I have been married for 21 years and I wanted to start a career. I had seen advertisements about UMA online and had read comments about how great it was but, nothing really prepared me. I was enrolled within 2 weeks of asking about how everything worked. The team literally walked me through every aspect from enrolling and getting financial aid assistance. The classes are geared toward the field of study that you’re... Read More

If you ever think about going back to school for a career in the medical field, UMA would be the perfect choice. The instructors were amazing. Anything that I didn’t understand, they were right there to assist me and help me to understand what the assignment or discussion meant. The advisors were also amazing. My advisor called nearly everyday to cheer me on or to make sure I was on top of everything in my classes to graduate. My advisor was my cheerleader. Again, if you want to pursue a career in... I attended UMA and found it to be a very supportive environment. The courses were challenging but doable, and the instructors were very knowledgeable. I really liked the one-week format; it helped me stay on track and complete my coursework on time. The one-week format also allowed me to focus on one course at a time, which helped me learn the material better. I would definitely recommend UMA to anyone looking for an accelerated learning environment.

Easy to navigate and understand. Great teachers and very knowledgeable. Financial aid personal could be more helpful at times and more accessible when needed. Tech help could also be be helpful. I was hacked and locked out of my account and unable to do school work 🙃
