For the working professional, Union College is a fantastic option. As a student, Union provides you with all of the tools necessary to succeed. While working full-time, and running a business, I was allowed to complete my bachelors degree at a pace that accommodated my busy work schedule and lifestyle. Great staff, instructors, and financial aid options.

Union College has a beautiful, small friendly campus, low student-teacher ratio, and caring staff. The emphasis is on what is really important.

Great student to faculty ratio and lots of individual instruction and mentoring, especially in the Sociology department. Great facilities. Writing Across the Curriculum courses are research and writing intensive. I recommend exploring courses instead of focusing on fulfilling the core curriculum in the first and second year of college. Reading widely in high school will help. Professors in Sociology Department were always encouraging and helpful and there to guide you throughout your studies.

While the presidents office staff holds nothing to the welcoming presence of the college campus in the foothills of eastern Kentucky, and more importantly the applacian mountains; the majority of the staff are! That is one problem I have, wjen I returned a call to the president of the college I... Read More
