I liked it. It's a rising star in the law school world, so even though I am a small town local girl, I had classmates from all over the country. It was extremely competitive, but I feel that I got a good education, if not realistic expectations about the job market.

I received my Master of Arts in Women's Studies from the University of Alabama in 2013. The program was intense, rigorous and definitely more competitive than my previous graduate program which definitely helped me prepare for further studies. The faculty was supportive of students and the overall department atmosphere was great. While there are some setbacks to attending the University of Alabama graduate school, the Women's Studies program was definitely not one of them!

The student experience was very positive. The campus and town are beautiful, and these were some of the best years of my life. The College of Communications and Information Sciences faculty and staff were very helpful when sought out. They were true mentors and always willing to help me succeed.

MBA Pros: Great networking, corporate partnerships, small program size (85 ppl per class) and culturally diverse student population results in a well rounded education. Opportunities to enroll in Dual MBA and MS in Engineering programs. MBA Cons: More MBA/Engineering related organizations and speakers.

Alabama offers an excellent education at a reasonable (though growing) cost. It is highly ranked and yet affordable, a great value. The faculty and administration are accessible, involved, and outstanding. Living expenses are relatively low. Despite the workload and academic rigor, the school atmosphere is generally supportive.

The UA Law community is very welcoming, and the professors are fair, friendly, and accessible. I feel that I have gotten a fantastic legal education at a great value. I would recommend this school to anyone looking at law schools.

The University of Alabama Higher Education Administration doctoral program is excellent! It affords you the opportunity to meet professional peers from all over the United States. Students can learn not only from an excellent faculty, but also from each other. The program is engaging and challenging, but 100% worth the time and the expense.

great campus and support for graduate student. research and travel funding is very appreciable.

I think a graduate program in physics can boost your carrier. Aa a grad student the workload will be very high.

I think we have a great graduate program here in physics department. The quality of learning is on top of everything, graduate students receive full respect, resources are available, professors are available and helpful whenever you need them, staff are respectable and welcoming, and the funding and support is good compared with the cost of living. Nothing is wrong with the university or the program, the only think that makes me bored is quietness of the city since I have lived in huge cities.

It was worth having a master's degree here. Th program structure was great and the faculties were really helpful.

The program itself is very good - I feel as though I am learning and professionalizing at every turn. However, the financial support is a bit sparse, unless you are an MFA or in Renaissance studies. Also, the program can leave you a bit high and dry if you are a lit person outside of the Renaissance, just because classes are not always offered to support broader interests.

I am very glad that I am a student here and working as a grad student in Chemical Engineering department. Very Kind professors, promising research field, hardworking students, broad campus, and good football team, what else do you need to be proved of? Roll Tide!

I think the graduate program is very good here. The only thing I miss is the fact that the biochemistry group is very small. Due to which students like me don't have a lot of peers to talk to and discuss about lab issues.

Overall, the program is great and I am definitely learning more on how to become a successful biologist

For me, going to this school was a change of atmosphere from my undergraduate institution. Some faculty do support their students extensively while others do not. In my department, in terms of underrepresented minorities there is total lack of diversity.

The faculty are fantastic and you really get out what you put in. My boss is great, my research is interesting, and I've made a lot of good connections. Football isn't a bad side perk either :)

Great program, but the lack of focus toward specific areas of biology hinder the growth of the program. As it is, biochemistry and biology are the same program, so the faculty is always split on decisions.
