Truly Heaven on Earth. From the professors to the people the experience could not be better. From the first day people welcome you with open arms. You find your friends for life. They have a great network to help with the job search after college or even when you are 50 years old. They are always ready to help students and alumni.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at UD. My education here opened many doors for me in my career. Much of what I learned in my classes had a real-world impact, which I was able to leverage in my professional life. I do wish there was a bit more diversity, but this may have changed in the last 10 years since I've graduated.

The University of Dayton is a well-respected mid to-high tier private university, especially strong for business, engineering, and hands on learning, with a supportive campus environment. I just love everything and being part of university of Dayton.

They have the vision of producing well rounded individuals for a positive impact on society, and from a systems perspective, it's actually pretty good. When it comes down to execution however, the quality of education and value based influence is severely lacking considering this ambition. That's not to say it's a bad school though. The student during your time there and how much you push yourself to get involved is the make or break--the social development and experience I got here is valued 10x... Read More

The University of Dayton Bachelor of Art's Program in International Studies provided me with a multi-faceted, immersive educational experience with a diverse variety of courses. UD's International Studies BA program has the option for students to declare a concentration, such as International Business, Sustainability, and more. I chose my concentration in International Business and I truly feel that I still have the skills needed in order to enter the realm of business in my career. Overall, I consider... Read More

While I absolutely loved my time at the University of Dayton, it did not come without its struggles and difficult times. As a Black woman at a predominately white institution, or PWI, I was constantly tested by my campus community to rise above any incidents that might have been devastating otherwise. There is a clear campus divide when it comes to the general campus majority and POCs. In the future, I hope that university initiatives will strive towards a more inclusive campus on all aspects. I... Read More

The key to being successful at the University of Dayton in the Accounting department is networking with the professors. The faculty have endless connections and opportunities that they will gladly connect students with. These connections include never-ending lists of partners from the Big Four, local firms always looking for interns, and everything in between. The connections do not stop at just public accounting either. The faculty is very diverse in that many have experience across the board. But... Read More

Degree: MBA

The MBA program at the University of Dayton lacks rigor but is a good MBA program as compared to the alternative options in its area. The smaller class sizes are really nice as they provide greater opportunities for in-depth discussions. Professors are knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for students when necessary.

UD felt like home the moment I step foot on campus. From my very first day of classes, my professors made me feel welcome and excited to be on campus. The dorms were huge and the staff was very helpful with move-in. The dining halls actually serve great food! I can't say enough great things about this school!

The University of Dayton (UD) is a academically rigorous and service oriented University that focuses on the leadership potential of students. A Marianist University, UD, is committed to social justice issues in the Dayton region and around the world. As a student I have various opportunities to participate in opportunities abroad through the Center for Social Concern and College of Arts and Sciences. There are numerous student run organizations that meet almost any interest that a student might... Read More

The university's facilities are top-knotch, and the campus is quite beautiful. The quality of instruction will prepare students well for their future professions; however, like any educational institution, there is variation in the quality of instruction between faculty. As this is a private intuition, higher-than-average tuition rates are to be expected.

UD's MPA program truly gave me a wholistic view of the world of public administration from bureaucratic work to nonprofit work. I had the ability to see multiple aspects of the career field. It was in this program that I gained the ability to articulate my calling and find direction vocationally. The staff is amazing and I have a great relationship with most of them to this day. I would say the biggest con is diversity. However, at a small, private, Catholic institution, diversity may be somewhat... Read More

The University of Dayton (UD) was an okay experience for me. It is a predominantly white institution and I encountered a little systematic racism and lack of diversity as a black student; however the colored community on campus was pretty tight knot. The education was very high quality and most of the professors and staff are extremely nice and helpful. Educational resources are plentiful. There is also a lot of volunteer and internship opportunities. Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) was okay.... Read More

UD Helped to prepare me for a few things. It helped me to become an active community member. UD fostered my leadership skills by providing many opportunities for students to take on responsibilities. However, I didn't feel prepared to teach after student teaching. UD had me in preschool classrooms until my senior year. I wish I had experienced being a part of a school as an undergraduate, like a TA position. I loved my time there and the people I met. But that's true for most colleges and others... Read More
