The University of Georgia was a great experience. I had the time of my life there. Most of my business classes were excellent learning experiences. The business school had recruiters coming from all over the USA to interview students. You really had to try hard NOT to get a job as a business student here. As for student life, I don't think there are many other schools that top UGA. You've got downtown life, huge sporting events, clubs, etc. Atlanta is only a an hour and a half away if that's your... The University of Georgia is a typical southern public school. Which is to say, it's a bit fratty and VERY into football. However, the atmosphere of Athens is very welcoming to all sorts and there are also strong arts and music scenes and one of the biggest LGBTQ communities in the state. Academics were adequate. I was enrolled in the Honors College and found the courses challenging enough. It prepared me to enter my graduate program.

I really enjoyed my time at UGA. I had a lot of great professors and took really cool classes I wouldn't have normally thought were available or thought about. The first year, it was really hard adjusting, but by my sophomore year, I started to get more involved, and it felt more like home. In my fifth year, I did the Music Business program, and it completely changed the trajectory of what I wanted to do, and helped me find a new professional career path I didn't even know existed. I LOVED this program,... Read More

The MBUS program helped me create a community in college, and really enriched my college experience. I would do it all over again if I could. I miss college, UGA was awesome.

I am glad that I decided to venture from small South Georgia and attend The University of Georgia. I realized there that it was a melting pot of people and cultures and I really learned a lot from people who were not like me. Academics were challenging but rewarding and I learned how to think critically during my time there. The various educators took pride in their teaching. Athens is a beautiful place to live and if I could, I would move back in a heartbeat. I may be biased but UGA has the prettiest... Read More

I attended the University of Georgia from 2014-2018 and it was the best four years of my life. As a freshman, I stayed on campus in the dorms and while a bit cramped, it was a great experience. The academics were rigorous, but I liked how the class size decreased as I got further into my major. Keep in mind that most introductory level classes are large lectures, so utilize office hours as often as possible. UGA has a number of resources available both socially and academically, there are tons of... Read More

University of Georgia has a great atmosphere and large social student base. The athletics are super engaging and the academics are very strong as well. A UGA degree holds a lot of power and prestige especially in the southern US. The professors are all very qualified. I felt very prepared for my graduate program after graduating.

I have attended this school for 3 different degrees. My experience with my 3rd degree has definitely been the most supportive. I appreciate how attentive the faculty is and how helpful they are despite many personal and academic challenges along the way.

I loved going to UGA. I think UGA was voted top colleges when I went there and I can confirm that it was. The dining halls were some of the best food you could get in the city. The student building and recreation centers always felt clean. The city of Athens itself was not much outside of the campus but there were some areas that had a great college atmosphere. Some of the apartment complexes and town home complexes truly felt nice to live in and visit. Downtown Athens was always a fun time when... Read More

UGA is basically the ultimate college experience. You get a massive, beautiful campus and top-tier academics, but it’s the Athens vibe that really makes it. The social scene is legendary, the food downtown is incredible, and Saturdays in the fall are unmatched. Go Dawg

I received an amazing education from UGA. I am now in a PhD program. Everyone else is struggling, but I am thriving!!! I know it’s because of the education quality I received at UGA. I also had lovely professors in my master’s program. The only downside was my masters graduation was combined with undergrad.

The University of Georgia is honestly an amazing school. The campus is really pretty with a lot of old buildings and green spaces, and Athens is such a fun college town. There’s always something to do, whether it’s going downtown, going to games, or just hanging out on campus with friends. UGA has a ton of majors and opportunities, and the professors actually care about helping students succeed. UGA is such a great school for everything. Academics, sporting events, events, are all fantastic. Specifically, the interior design program is wonderful. It is actually one of the best programs nationwide, and I feel so prepared because of it. Even though it is a five year program, I am thankful.

I really enjoyed the sports aspect of the university and it made me feel like I was part of something bigger. There are a lot of opportunities to get involved on campus, tons of events, and the food at the dining halls is top-tier. Beyond that, most importantly, professors are engaged and always willing to help with questions, and they usually offer office hours if you'd like a 1:1 experience.
