My experience in UK's College of Social Work was a great one. I was a non-traditional student, as was a large percentage of my cohort, but never felt out of place. This program lacks structure. The name is what gets the students in the door but the program is so unorganized and placement sites provide little experience. Waste of your time and money unless you just need the diploma and not the education. Save yourself the time and money and do research when looking into a program, reach out to current or past students rather than relying on the colleges website.

I love U.K. in its entirety; however, the College of Social Work is especially amazing! There are numerous programs, clubs, and events to be a part of--there is literally something for everyone.

It is an excellent University! It is steadfastly becoming one of the top 20 research institutions in the country. My instructors were easy to talk to and took a genuine interest in students' learning. It is in an excellent area of the state and there are several 'things to do' around Lexington.

The campus was beautiful however I sensed a focus more on athletics than academics. The school is really large so if you want the more one-on-one feel then I would not recommend this campus for you.
