I loved the school and the teachers. The only thing lacking was organization in the administrative side. There were always issues with registering for classes or anything that involved paper (which I don't know why everything isn't automated in 2014). It's a manageable hurdle, but definitely requires a lot of active follow up on the part of the student.

There is a very good esprit de corps at the school. Students get along very well and professors are always approachable.

I am so excited about Maryland and it's diversity of concentrations in law. It's a great program and Baltimore is a great city--the campus feels safe, it's easily accessible, it's intimate and a good learning environment.

Fantastic faculty - always willing to meet during office hours when I have questions. The school is located in an unsafe part of Baltimore, though.

The safety is a concern but the president mentioned this year that he is going to be working hard and spending significant resources to enhance the safety of the area. The school is excellent!

University of Maryland is a well respected univeristy on the East Coast. The course load is rigorous, the professors are challenging but fair and the grounds are great. I could not have asked for a better school to do my legal education. Some of the Cons include: a poor career development office and the surrounding area is in transition.
