The University of Massachusetts - Amherst's online MBA program is highly regarded and it shows. The professors are dedicated and the online learning program is demanding. The graduate student population is diverse in both ethnicity, career field, and work experience, making for a great learning environment.

PROS: Excellent MBA program with great faculty support and camaraderie among peers. The online platform is organized and quality of education for most courses are outstanding. CONS: Cannot think of anything that they have not already started improving. The IT department is constantly upgrading the platform for online studies to ensure it works efficiently.

In my experience so far, the Isenberg Online MBA program has been flexible but challenging. My professors and advisors are accessible via e-mail and they use the online format to invent creative ways to convey information and connect with students. I am also local and I have found the UMass campus to be abundant with resources and the Amherst area to be beautiful and populated with many restaurants and activities (due to it being primarily a college town).

MBA program was fairly easy for me. There were a few classes that required a significant amount of effort, but overall it wasn't difficult to obtain good grades. If anything, UMass Amherst needs to do an audit of their courses and see what can be done to increase their online MBA academic rigor.
