The University of Miami was a great experience for me, and I'd recommend it fully if not for one big thing that one should consider, that being the extremely high tuition costs. The atmosphere and academics are great, with the school having several world class professors and it being located in sunny Coral Gables, Florida, and spending time there was a joy but if I hadn't been given a very large scholarship this would not have been realistic for me as it would've put me into deep debt. The best school... Read More

I would highly recommend this school. The facilities are amazing, and the campus is unmatched. You will constantly be able to enjoy your time outside of academics, and the school offers a variety of ways to get involved with campus life. The academics are also great, I was able to double major and even fit in a semester where I studied abroad.

Fantastic experience, amazing professors, terrific faculty-to-student ratios, and of course, a world-class city with the best weather year-round. I wouldn't change a thing about my collegiate experience, and it opened up the world to me. If you are considering attending the University of Miami, you'd make an excellent choice in going there!

I loved the University of Miami because not only is the campus absolutely gorgeous, but as a student you are constantly surrounded by other like- minded intelligent individuals. The professors are typically top notch as well! As a low-income student, it may feel like you don't fit in at times or like you can't afford the luxuries that other students can afford. The adversity makes the experience so much more humbling and it pushes you to be the best you can be in life. The night life in Miami is... Read More

The school's main draw is an extensive networking program. The South Florida area is full of well known professionals who are intertwined with UM in some form or manner. The campus is as diverse as any in the world. The beach is around the block so you can't go wrong with the weather. The engineering and music/arts programs are phenomenal, and the sports programs are excellent and historically well-known. The professors here are very welcoming and most are great teachers as well. The campus diversity... Read More

UM is a great place to experience diversity, school spirit, and life in a community rather than completely centered on school. Miami excels in research and preparation for pre health students. We also have a great music program and plenty of student organizations to be a part of. I'd highly suggest visiting the greater Miami area and getting a feel for your fit culturally. Attending UM is much more than being at school. You are part of a very diverse and unique community. If you dislike the Miami... Read More
