Went to one of the best journalism schools in the country and have been able to secure a job in mt field for the last eight years. I learned all the skills needed for real life situations. The University of Missouri depends a lot on what you want to major in but for journalism I would highly recommend.

All in all, I am very glad about the time I had at Mizzou. Not only is the campus beautiful, but the facilities they are top notch, including the student center, rec center and large Ellis Library. The school spirt there is also worth it as well as the opportunity for a social life. Great teachers also! Shout out Professor Rob Walker best professor there for anthropology!

University of Missouri I think was good for me as a freshman, they had a lot of resources guiding you through the whole process of starting college and throughout to graduation. I’ve had many amazing professors who were very passionate about their subject and made class fun. There are a lot of graduate students teaching entry level classes and while some were good, there were some that were awful. At times those classes did not feel like I was getting my tuitions worth.

Overall, I received a quality education at the University of Missouri in Columbia. However, there were certainly gaps in instructor quality that were glaring across some courses. I think the city of Columbia was an excellent place to have the college experience, though.

I loved my time at Mizzou! While I studied Business, there are so many wonderful majors - Journalism, Nursing, Education, Communications, Agriculture, etc. The campus seems big but as soon as you get involved, it feels a lot smaller. Get involved, find a student organization that speaks to you and find your place at Mizzou! I loved my time studying for my major, getting involved in student organizations, and cheering on the Tigers!

Very bad handling of COVID that impacted my entire college experience. General classes are much too large to actually learn, and professors are more focused on proving how smart they are and going over the slides rather than helping people to learn the material. Studies were quite easy, even in Honors college, and there is no academic rigor at all. My degree feels like an empty piece of paper, I don't feel like I learned much regarding my field until taking masters level courses.

I attended the school of journalism at the University of Missouri. I learned wonderful skills and got to take a part of some wonderful courses that taught me valuable skills that I use in my career today. The campus is absolutely beautiful in downtown Columbia is nearby. It is very easy to walk from campus to downtown making the city various accessible to students.

Mizzou was a great school for the social experience, but I find that professionally it is not impressive and is often seen as a party school. I am grateful for the relationships built at my time there, but in hindsight I wish I had gone to a school that gave me actual guidance for the future.

I've really enjoyed my time at Mizzou (University of Missouri - Columbia). I feel this school has given me a great balance of a good education, research opportunities and experience, outreach and involvement, and future career support (career fairs, etc). I also feel that through these experiences and opportunities I have also made lifelong friends and gained experience that is irreplaceable.

Mizzou was an amazing schol to go to as a media studies student. You have many oprotunities to learn and get involved in the community and arts scene. They could have handled COVID alot better, my freshman year was very difficult to navigate and the resources offered werent great.

It was a decent school but not well suited for my degree. It is great if you're pursuing a journalism degree, but the engineering school did not go as in depth into my field as I had hoped. I love the campus, the people there, and the amenities, but I believe I could have gotten a better education elsewhere

Mizzou has been a wonderful school to me. I have met some of the most amazing people here and my professors show me so much care. I am well taken care of here at Mizzou and I know that this school will push me to do my best through anythings. I would choose this university over and over because the environment is so friendly open. There is an amazing community that has been built here and continues on throughout the years.

The university itself is fine. I like some professors there when attending my classes since they can teach very well. I just do not like my own advisor and he can’t treat people in his lad as human and many of my coworkers either transferred to other labs or quit from the university.

The University of Missouri has shaped me into the individual I am today. Throughout my four years there I made life long friendships, gained expertise in child development and joined organizations that prepared me for the work force. The campus is also beautiful, which made it enjoyable to walk to and from class. There are things to do outside of school too, like exploring downtown and hiking at the nearby parks!

The NEP program was great. It was well-rounded and has helped me in my career. The professors in the major are knowledgeable, passionate, and helpful. They are quick to respond to questions or point you in the right direction to get help. There are so many helpful departments. I enjoyed my time there.

The ISLT program at Mizzou was a great experience. The coursework was practical and pushed me to think about how technology truly supports learning. The faculty were supportive and knowledgeable, and I always felt like I could apply what I was learning right away. Working with classmates from many roles also broadened my perspective. Overall, the program strengthened my skills in instructional design, tech integration, and leadership.
