I had a wonderful experience at OU. The teachers really cared. Wonderful school environment. Beautiful campus.

Conveniently located. Wide range of degrees. Decent tuition.

The OU-OKC PA program has been through some big changes within the past couple years and I think it is all for the better. Seeing the improvements, the passion in each staff member makes me excited to continue my education. I look forward to the next couple of years and I cannot wait to see what else we can accomplish.

I am very proud of my bachelor's degree from OUHSC. I often brag on education because it was one of the best times of my life. I have so much opportunity with my BSN, the possibilities are endless. I felt very prepared to hit the floor running after passing my boards on the first try. I would absolutely recommend OUHSC to any of my friends, they truly care for your future and are there to guide you to succeed.

Most of the professors are ready to help with any questions, and they are easily accessible outside of the classroom. They are knowledgeable and willing to share everything they know about physical therapy. I am enjoying the program even though it is extremely challenging, and I feel the professors will do everything they can to help me succeed.

Pros: various projects give students diverse experience and a large range of knowledge. Students are very hirable after graduation. Cons: the small campus/student population makes it difficult to interact and connect with others at times.

Pros-local Con-self taught even when class is not online.

One con Is that much of the program is distance learning and split between two campuses. So professors are not on your campus all the time. Pro is that you get lots of hands on experience and the professors are great and very knowledgeable.

Pro is that there are many very qualified professors and great fellow students to work with. One con is that it is very integrated with distance learning with classes between two campuses. Technology issues and not always having your professor on your campus is difficult at times.

Pro's: great clinical experience, newly remodeled facilities Cons: on-going construction during renovation process

As far as medical schools go, Oklahoma has been ahead of the curve in both methods and materials. They have incredible faculty and an environment developed for learning. While it is competitive, each and every student is there to support and help one another.

Experienced faculty that is always willing to help. However, not many classes offered in the evening.

The speech language pathology program at OUHSC is extremely challenging, fast-paced and jam-packed with so much information and practical clinical experience. You are provided with patient contact in the very first semester and it never lets up. The ability to multitask and change tracks quickly is a must for this program but it is totally worth all the hard work it demands!

Pros: great use of IT services, integrated curriculum, great networking opportunities between colleges on campus and across other campuses and professional organizations Cons: 2 campuses (1 main, 1 satellite) can be challenging at times

I love the diversity among the student body. In addition, the faculty members and staffs are always present to help students. As a con, I wish there were more scholarships available
