I would highly recommend the University of Southern Indiana. Not only for the degree I chose, but for many others as well. USI has one of the best DMS programs in the nation. I believe that I got a great job as quickly as I did because of the school that I went to.

During my time at USI I had a great college experience. Despite the on-campus restriction due to COVID, each class was very engaging and educating. My professors were always willing to help me if I had questions and classmates were eager to study together. USI is a great University and I would recommend it to any student in High School.

Solid online experience with relatable but challenging coursework. AACSB accredited with a good number of concentrations available. There is an option to pursue multiple concentrations; I opted to just stick to one. A cost effective, rewarding, online MBA experience overall; tailor-made for working professionals.

This was the worst college experience I've had. I was upfront about my goal when I started and advisors led me astray because they were not listening to me. I spent 2 years and $30000 to only be able to stay in the same position I was already in because my degree was worthless. I would never recommend this college and if other colleges are doing the same thing.. Save your time and money and go to community college.

The University of Southern Indiana offered a thorough education in both core academic subjects and the field of Elementary Education. In particular, the classes related to my field covered a complete overview of the history of education, educational theory, and best practices. Overall, the professors were easily accessible and open to questions and concerns. The practicum experience progressed from observation (in beginning classes) to collaboration and individual lesson planning and instruction... Read More

I enjoyed USI because the professors in my program really cared about me. I was a non-traditional student with a family and they were willing to work with me. The one thing I wish the school would promote more, is internships. The school lets students find internships on their own and don't really discuss them in the program. I feel the school should promore internships more because it lets the student gan exposure to the workforce.

I have already obtained my ASN and BSN from USI, and am now continuing my education by going back for my MSN. As an undergrad, I LOVED USI's campus. Always clean and friendly, it was smaller at the time, but growing each year that I was there. Campus has changed now and I have not had a chance to return recently, but it still looks as beautiful as ever. Health professions staff and instructors were always available and readily willing to help when needed. After having been a nursing mentor to other... Read More

I attended the University of Southern Indiana for both of my Bachelor's degrees - in Public Relations and in Nursing. USI had a rigorous and challenging nursing undergraduate program. The professors challenged me to perform my best, while being available and supportive throughout my time there. Everyone - from professors, adjunct faculty, and administrators - were on your side and wanted nothing but the best for the students. I felt I received a quality education there and it served me well, during... Read More

The most important aspect of University of Southern Indiana, is how quickly they get you out in the field. As an education student, it was critical to get in the classroom right away. I was observing other educators within the first year. I had a variety of electives with professors who genuinely cared about what kind of teacher I would become. I felt supported throughout my entire journey. I really loved the "small town' feel that the university provided.

University of Southern Indiana is a great place to attend college. Besides the campus being beautiful, there are many activities and clubs to participate in, some even pertaining to your major. The class sizes are normally small and allow you to get to know the students in your class and your professors. The instructors are very kind and easy to talk to for the most part. I highly recommend attending this university.

The program is a very difficult one, but it should be. I feel that when I have completed the program I will have the knowledge that I need to practice. I am however very disappointed with the financial aid office. No one seems to know what is going on in that department.
