Attended the online Master's program. I would recommend attending classes in person.

Very poor experience. The school did not care about students or learning as much as pumping out degrees.

I like how this program can be tailored for remote students like me, who are working. This specialized masters program was extremely helpful in getting a great promotion at my job. In addition, since the MS program allowed me to choose a course of study, I was able to focus on my areas of interest while still earning the credits needed. My program was tailored to me. I was offered a teaching assistant position to help offset the cost of tuition.

The MS in HCDE program at UW was both delightful to be a part of and immensely helpful to prepare me for my chosen career path as a user experience researcher. As far as masters programs go, this one has a good balance of both theoretical foundations and practical, hands-on work that can prepare you for life in the field. UW and HCDE also have notable connections in the tech industry including Microsoft and Amazon among many others, to help with internships and jobs after graduation. It's a flexible... Read More
