I chose this school because they claimed to be supportive of adult life balances when I interviewed. The summer went great and I was content until placements began in the fall. None of my concerns were addressed as a new mother and I had to do the work of finding a placement myself while the rest of my cohort was taken care of. Move forward to 2020 and again, the professors did well at providing knowledgeable content. Again for my final semester teaching, the task of finding a placement landed on... Read More

While being at Ursuline, I took a liking to the small school setting. Because of it being such a small school the resources that were provided were easily accessible. The student-teacher ratio was low as well, so the one on one communication was helpful, especially in classes that I might've needed extra assistance. The staff at the school were helpful as well whether it was my soccer coach, mentor leader, or academic adviser. Overall the experience was what I made it. I enjoy my time there.

This college is small. It tries to sell the idea that its small size allows it to be personal and vigorous, but in reality it is poorly organized, gives meaningless assignments that are large but have no worth, and does not listen to the needs of the students. They are pretentious and think they are better than everyone else. The education program is hesitant to work with public schools, believing that the private sector is more worthwhile.

Ursuline College is a great choice for students who are looking for small classes and personalized attention from faculty and staff. There are many resources to expand and improve professional connections. As a fashion and PR student, I had the opportunity to meet and network with many local professionals. In addition to this, I had the chance to travel to major cities, such as New York City, to expand my knowledge of each respective field. The course load is challenging, but you come out of each... I wish I had the opportunity to talk to someone in the nursing program prior to beginning my degree. There was a lot of miscommunication and I do not feel like the program was conducive to a learning environment. However, I do believe that I had great experiences as far as clinicals.

I feel the pros of this graduate program are extensive. The PASE program is taught in a hybrid fashion that entails on-campus and on-line learning within the scope of an accelerated schedule. The instructor's are knowledgeable, flexible, and experienced. The cons of such a program are that much learning takes place through class discussion of real life experiences and with a hybrid schedule, this type of learning is less frequent.

I really enjoy the proximity provided of the program. Ursuline college is a very small program where the teachers are very accessible. Although the program is small, the social life opportunities are present throughout the program. Overall the program is very productive at preparing nurse practitioners for the work field.

I feel as though the Ursuline Graduate Program is a great opportunity for people who want to work a full time job and continue their education. With the classes being at night, and only once a week, it makes it possible for people to keep an income to pay for tuition. Although I feel the curriculum could be more tough, I have gained many tools on how to be a better leader, and manager. The campus is very safe, and I have established good relationships with my professors and classmates.

This is a competitive program. It is extremely expensive, but you definitely are prepared to be an effective teacher upon graduation.

The pros to this program are the professor. Many of them are practicing art therapist and come from a place of wanting to help you the student succeed. However, the biggest con of this program is its affordability. It's an expensive school.

Overall I am satisfied with my education at Ursuline. There are things that I felt we spent too much time on, like research and making a poster, when we should have been spending that time learning the nuts and bolts of becoming a nurse practitioner.

This graduate program in art therapy and counseling really focuses on the individual and how he or she will make a difference in a future career. Most classes provide a balance of textbook information and hands on experience. The program is fast paced and rigorous, but the student is able to adapt quickly and grow into a well-rounded individual with knowledge and experience. There needs to be more financial aid for this program, as tuition is rising and scholarships are scarce.
