Degree: Counseling

I love Walsh University. I have learned so much from this college. I am an online student in another state, but I still felt like I was a part of the school. They helped me so much that I excelled in my internship, and I was offered a job before I even finished. The professors and students are very supportive and helpful, and I could not be more grateful.

Walsh University is a terrible school; constant turnover with academic advisors, disengaged professors, deplorable dorm rooms and the dining halls/food are revolting. Do not waste your money on Walsh University as there are far better options available

I wholeheartedly believe that education is the key to getting out of poverty and having career choices. I am the only person in my family to attend college and the only person in my family that is financially comfortable.

Degree: Communications

Walsh University provided an individualized experience combined with a high quality education. Walsh has a safe, campus with a "home away from home" atmosphere. Catholic values, primarily that of serving the community, are instilled in students throughout the duration of their education. Many Walsh student are also athletes, so professors are generally accommodating towards the schedule of a student athlete as well.

Degree: Counseling

Walsh is has a very respected Counseling and Human Development (CHD) Master's program. However, the technology is not as good as it should be. Programs crash, the system lags, and the OS in the counseling center is not compatible with the server we use to record our sessions. The voicemail system is a joke, which makes it difficult to get messages from clients. Admittedly, they have been working on upgrades all year, so hopefully, these will be temporary problems. The teachers are great. They are... Read More

Online format allows me to continue working full time without having time conflicts. Instructors are very knowledgable and work in their teaching fields as well giving real world experience and knowledge to learning. Work load is intense but should be expected at the graduate level.

Degree: Counseling Psychology

Pros: The counseling program is highly rated among professionals. The professors are helpful and approachable. The courses are intense, but concise. Cons: Only evening courses are available for the counseling program. Parking for commuter students is often difficult to find, due to designated lots being closed for other events.

Degree: Physical Therapy

Pros: -Research based education that stays up to date with new research on effective physical therapy practice. -The professors are very approachable and treat all students like family. -The professors have won distinguished physical therapy awards and have had countless publications of research, not to mention published textbooks. -The PT program offers very diverse experiences to enhance learning (ex. clinical rotations in Italy, for MLB teams, etc.) -Classes bring in patients for hands-on learning... Degree: Educational Leadership

Walsh is a very positive enviroment for training of education administrators. The staff is quite well-versed on their subjects and material and prepare their students well for leadership roles in academia. The pros of the school are surely the teachers, as I have not a one that I would rate lower than fantastic in the four courses I have taken. As far as cons, the program itself doesn't really have any; as far as the school goes, as with any private school, tuition is a tad pricey.

Degree: Project Management

Walsh is the one of the best business schools in the area. I have been receiving a high quality education from the school. The financial aid dept could be a bit more helpful with helping find available funding for school. Overall its a good experience.

Degree: Management

As a small campus of around 3000 students, class sizes are small and the professors are extremely knowledgable. The professors take the time to get to know each student, while relating the material to a real world environment. Walsh also has a great reputation within the local community and makes sure those resources are available to all students.

The Walsh College MBA program is great! It puts students in a clear, direct path towards a successful career. There is a great network of students, alumni and faculty involved in seeing you through your entire program. Offering classes both online and in-school, as well as knowing students will need nighttime classes in order to accommodate for work has been very helpful. The college is accredited and well-known which is another advantage. I often recommend it to friends, family, and peers and I... Read More

Walsh is a true Catholic University of Distinction as the tagline suggests. Regardless if you are Catholic yourself (only about 50% of Walsh Students are), the Catholic education, service learning experiences, and overall friendliness of Walsh is hard to compete with. It is a beautiful campus with great people who want you to succeed.

Great Graduate School. This school is perhaps the top business school in the state. The only con is the distance that the campuses are from my home. Otherwise, great school.
