Weber State's online Masters of Criminal Justice program has been a great, affordable and highly educational program. Through this program, I have been introduced to several aspects of the American criminal justice system including: policing, corrections, the courts, etc in a real-world-applicable way. Being that the program is online, it's been so nice to work when I want, where I want. This has allowed me to further my career while going to school. If you're looking for a great, affordable Masters... Read More

Weber State University is great. The professors are very flexible and easy to work with. You are taught by an actual professor instead of a teacher assistant. It is easy to find a class that fits your schedule because they offer the same class at multiple times. Parking is a little difficult, but they do offer a $20 dollar bus pass that can be used for the entire school year. Several buses have routes that go to the college from all over the valley.

I am a current student in the Master's of Criminal Justice program. I am currently in my third semester. I have had mostly positive experiences in this program, the professors give good feedback and the curriculum isn't overly challenging. I have had some significant challenges working with the Student Disabilities Center however. I have a disability and their program is not well organized. They asked me to submit confidential medical paperwork over email. I ask for a guarantee that the email would... Read More

The medical laboratory science program has been amazing in preparing me to pursue my career as a physicians assistant. Weber state university was great academically and I would recommend this school to anyone I know. There is no greater major to prepare for medical school or physicians assistant school than the medical laboratory science program.

I loved the Education program at Weber State. They want to produce the best teachers and they do it by trying to be the best teachers. It was a very different program than what my friends experienced at other Universities.

I loved this school especially for the health sciences! Every professor I have had has been great. We were even able to meet with the University President a few times and have lunch with him. I have enjoyed this school and I am glad i choose to come here!

I loved going Weber State. It is a smaller college, but with a decent sized campus. Everyone is friendly. Their Zoology/science department is amazing.

The Spanish program was great. All of the professors had high moral standards. The Art program was great in that I edited it with the help of the department head, Jim Jacobs. He allowed me to replace the nude drawing class with illustration. I respect him a lot for this. There were a few professors at Weber State who really talked down about "Mormons" and challenged us (mocked us) in class. The Ogden LDS Institute is a great program for the LDS Students (under age 31) and quite necessary if the student... Read More

Weber State provides great opportunities with undergraduate research and experience while also providing smaller class sizes and comfortable professor-to-student interactions. Unlike large institutions, you never have 100-200 students in a class taught by a TA.

I have loved the many options I have had to get to where I am. I'm still working towards my goal for my zoology major, but I have loved the connections and opportunities I've had while going here. There are many other things to do and activities to be part of.

The graduate program is not very well advertised within the undergrad programs. I attended WSU for my undergrad and do not feel like the professors even presented the masters program as a good option. Once they knew I was interested, they began to tell me how great it was. I believe it is a really good program but I don't believe many people know that it is offered.

I am just beginning the program. So far, I have seen professors that go the extra mile to ensure the students have what they need. The only drawback I have seen is the options of classes. They are offered in the evening, which is good is you are working, but the classes fill too fast and my choices are quite limited.

The pros for this program are incredible. The experience and knowledge of the faculty and staff are incredible. They are willing to meet with students outside of class to discuss the coursework, experiences, and potential internships or job opportunities. The workload is appropriate and helps prepare students to succeed at the Certification exam. The cons of the program is the diversity. Students are diverse in the demographics of where they were raised and the undergraduate programs attended, but... Read More

I loved Weber State. Everything could be done online, and if something was hard to figure out or do. They were easy to call or go in and talk to. Always willing to help. Always stuff you could look up to figure out what classes you need to take for your major or program or whatever you were doing. Books are way easy to buy, and was easy to sell back. When buying books they always give you a list of the books that are cheaper somewhere else. Help you compare prices. That way you can buy the cheapest... Read More

Weber State University Masters of Athletic Training Program is phenomenal. Most out-of-state students receive the out-of-state tuition waiver, and they only pay in-state tuition. Weber State has 100% first time pass rate for the Board of Certification exam. The Program Director and Faculty Staff have years of connections and an extended network to help students pursue various opportunities. In addition, there is high encouragement to be involved with the professional organization, as the Program... Read More
