Webster does not care about students. They will tell you about their classes are all in resident. That includes their terrible WEB-EX online. They only offer some courses once a year so you a pigeon hold once you start. Do not waste your time! My bachelors was more challenging than Webster. Dont let them fool you in telling you how great it is. Community Colleges Are More Legit!

The degree programs are anything but self study. Webster University uses the Concourse Syllabus Manager program so that students can preview an approved syllabus before enrolling that outlines assignments, grading criteria, course deliverables and course policies. The course rotation schedule was deep and broad based on my experience at Webster, offering core courses and electives in both my major and related disciplines. The professors that I had provided me with a perfect blend of theory with applied... Read More

Outstanding experience taking courses at the four Webster campuses in the St. Louis area. The degree program covered areas such as Management, Human Resources Management, Strategic Management, Organizational Development, Managerial Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Finance and a Capstone course in addition to four electives of my choice. I found good networking opportunities with my peers, who came from BJC Health, Boeing, Anheuser Busch, Emerson Electric, Worldwide Technology, Ameren U/E, and... Read More

This is the worst university that I have every attended. Organizational culture is poorly developed, unprofessional financial aid and academic advising departments. Every process, every year was explained wrong, then it took multiple phone calls and tedious processes to fix the things that were never explained. This university lacks diversity, Corporate location is in St. Louis, that should have been a red flag for me, personally. Rude, unprofessional staff members who lack customer service and customer... Webster University was a great college especially for the working adult. I had amazing opportunities with the faculty who made lasting impressions on my career and have become lifelong friends and mentors. I would highly recommend this University. I stay in contact with many of my professors to give feedback on different aspects that helped and topics that I've encountered that could help future students. One of my favorite professors was Edward Lott who taught my managerial leadership class. His... Read More

After looking at what the market had to offer here in St. Louis, I chose to get my Masters Degree in Management and Leadership at Webster in 2006 because I already had a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from SLU and an MBA would be an expansion to what I had already learned - Management and Leadership was the best field of study for me; as a newly minted Division Vice President for a Fortune 500 company I needed to develop my softer skills of influencing my team to adapt to a changing market. My advice would... Read More
This not grad school, this is a joke

This is not graduate level learning. I had more academic rigor in the classes I took in high school. One of my instructors shows up 30+ minutes late, if at all and talks about his personal life the entire time. If you want to get an actual graduate degree that is respected and actually learn something then go to a real school. If you want to pay 10 grand and get a degree out of a Cracker Jack box then this school is for you.

I disagree with most of the posts here. My experience at Webster was outstanding. I already have an MBA from the University of California, Irvine and decided to pursue the master's in Procurement and Acquisitions Management. The program was very good. I found it to be similar in academic rigor and quality of education from my MBA program which is a top 50 MBA school. I mixed my program up by taking 3/4 of the classes in residence and the other quarter of my classes online. Both experiences were good.... Read More

I disagree with most of the comments on these reviews. I had a great experience at Webster. I took classes at a satellite campus in Colorado, as well as online. My M.A. in Management and Leadership taught me principles I use every day in my military profession.

I had been working in my field for about 7 years and I decided if I wanted to get ahead I needed to get an advanced degree. I didn't want to do the online thing and Webster happen to have a campus close to my home with a major that I was interested in. I didn't fit the typical mold of a person getting a degree from this university. Almost everyone else in my program was either a member of the military or a civilan employee. There were a few contractors who did work for the air force, but I think... Read More

For me the pros of this graduate program are that it works will with my work schedule. I am able to maintain a full-time job and attend my graduate classes at night during the week. Therefore, I am able to continue supporting myself and pay my bills. Also, the classes are broken down into nine week terms rather than the traditional 16-18 week semester.

The willingness to assist me while I enter my first year of graduate school. My expectations were set high being that I came from a Big Ten school. The Webster staff have been more than helpful as I proceed through my process of obtaining my master's degree. I have not encountered any cons about this graduate program.

The program is well designed. I believe it covers the range of topics and skill sets that managers need in todays environment. PRO- Online course is well designed and intuitive. CON-Online coursework leaves something to be desired socially. Let me preface that with, in my oppinion.

This is my second year with Webster. They offer a wide variety of programs and I have enjoyed both satellite classrooms as well as online learning. The World Classroom is a phenomenal program and I look forward to using it this semester! Webster University makes it easy for non-traditional students like myself, to succeed!

Pros: This school is a military friendly school. They offer discounted rates for active duty, veterans and DOD civilians. Very diverse population in classes. The faculty are well rounded, willing to provide any additional assistance. Cons: The discounts provided do not apply to online classes unless the student is active duty.

Attending Webster University graduate program is a dream come true. It offers so many avenues of completing a graduate degree. Webster University is a global university and really cater to the United States Armed Forces, because they are located on Air Force, Army, Navy/Marine bases, and also available in the Coast Guard areas as well. This is a true winner, because it allows the service members to obtain an education of their choice by attending classes after work, on weekends and online if they... Read More

Having been pursuing my degree online I have found that I have the ability to control when my assignments are completed. As a working adult it is difficult to experience the traditional student. Though this experience is missed the nontraditional student is a better fit to encompass my working lifestyle.
