I personally liked Wilmington University because they work with the Guild program which allows your job to pay for the full college experience. So I worked at Walmart for 4 years and walked out with no debt. I was able to be a full time student while working more than full time and the workload was not too much at all. I was able to do school work from my phone and on the go. As an online student I feel I lacked in the hands on aspect and getting a hold of teachers is difficult sometimes but otherwise... Read More

Wilmington University was a great school because of the flexibility factor. I was able to attend classes both in campus and online. Also, their education program placed me in a situation where I was immediately hired once I graduated. I would recommend this school to others.

What I loved most about Wilmington University was the flexibility as far as class options and formats. I was able to with relative ease complete my undergrad program at an accelerated pace. I especially enjoyed their eight week courses which I used to fill in some of my easier prerequisites. I would highly recommend this university for working professionals with limited time.

Wilmington University meets students where they are in their careers and life. The teachers I had were in the career in which they taught, and what they shared was relevant to us. The internship program was well constructed and important to my new career.

The education I received at Wilmington University was every bit worth the money that was spent. By no stretch of the imagination can I complain about the quality of anything there. The New Castle campus was absolutely beautiful, and the learning was hands-on, always putting you the student in the drivers seat. My major was business related, so the coursework there was quite standard but my teachers were all great. The University also has really effective programs setup for job and internship placement?... If I could share one final thing, it would be that I think that a lot of high schoolers choosing a setting for higher education underestimate the real value that a quiet, budget-friendly university like WilmU can bring. And if its connections you're after they're here, you've just gotta make em'.

Degree: Finance
This school should 100% be rated higher, and I think they are working toward that. The finance program has boosted my earning power in the accounting field where I am already employed. The knowledge of have gained from the overall business program (as opposed to solely the finance core classes) has tremendously helped me expand my usefulness to my employer(s). Some of the online classes are better than others because some of the professors have surpassed others by using video lectures, Zoom meetings,... Read More

Degree: Human Services
I just finished my last class in the Master of Science in Administration of Human Services program at Wilmington University and I am surprised this school doesn’t get more credit. Yes, this school has an open admission policy, but do not expect for a second that would indicate getting your degree will be a breeze. It won’t. I enjoyed my classes, but they were challenging and I’ve had a lot of sleepless nights due to the amount of reading and complex coursework involved. If you are someone who is... Read More

I would recommend this school to future students. I had exceptional education and devoted professors. Most of my professors had careers in the field in which they taught in. This made it easier to learn the material. I obtained real life examples and first hand knowledge of the jobs I would be performing.

I am currently enrolled in a dual degree MSN/MBA program at Wilmington University. In addition I am a mother of three and I work full time night shift as an RN in a busy level one Trauma center emergency department. The program is completely online accelerated classes completed over seven weeks. Although there is a lot of work and reading, the work is pertinent and the professors are available and very helpful.

I was so impressed with the level of support I received as a graduate student at Wilmington University, I decided to continue my educational goals there after I received my Masters Degree. I am currently a doctoral student at the university and am receiving the same level of support and commitment from the faculty.

I experience at Wilmington University was great. All my professors and staff were exceptional. I can't complain about any part of it. I learned the things that are relevant in today's business world so the knowledge was useful immediately. I would highly recommend Wilmington for anyone looking for a flexible, competetive undergrad program. I'm in the Master's program now and expect this experiece to by as good if not better than undergraduate studies.

It's pretty good. On the lower cost end of public education in the state so you get what you pay for.
