Wingate was a strong school that equipped its student to not only pass the board exams, but with the ability to find answers to questions in practice. The learning environment was top notch and the instructors really took time to want to see your success.

My time at Wingate was some of the best years of my life thus far. The school has good educators that I had the opportunity of being taught by. I met some of my best friends while attending. I also had many experiences I would not have had otherwise. I enjoyed the clubs and other extracurricular I was able to participate in as well.

Wingate Univetsity provides a solid education. The institution also provides great experiences and surrounds you with a positive network of students, staff, and alumni. The things you learn will be relevant for your career. I highly recommend this university.

The courses were great. They were challenging and a lot of critical thinking which I loved. My complaints are mostly to Residential Life, Financial Services, and some of the professors/academic advisors. Residential Life: If you have any problems with anybody in your hall or your roommate, they will not solve anything unless it's an emergency. By emergency I mean the other person gets violent and hits you (I saw it happen and a similar thing happened to me). Thats when they try to solve the problem,... Read More

Wingate University is a great place to further your education. The staff and professors are highly experienced and knowledgeable, they do their best to help students as much as possible. After viewing various colleges, I knew that Wingate University was the school for me with small classroom sizes, which allow for more professor and student interactions.

The school shows a great interest in students and cares about everyone. They take every opinions into consideration and always listen in the purpose of making student successful. The curriculum is strong and full of opportunity to learn. As usual as any other school, there are poor and great professor, but the point is you've got to be flexible and smart in learning the different styles of teaching and finding a way to do great in each class. I got accepted to many pharmacy school even the one with... Read More

I feel that half of my education was electives that I don't even remember material from now. However, the classes in my major were great, and I really appreciate my professors. The instructors in my field were very caring, helpful, and knowledgeable. Small class sizes are also a plus, because you have the opportunity to form great relationships with professors.

Convenient graduate program with multiple locations. I liked having a cohort that I worked with throughout.

Degree: Physical Therapy

I attended the Open House for the Physical Therapy program at Wingate University. I will begin the program in January but I already know that the program is one of the best. The Wingate DPT program has not had a graduating class yet because it started in 2014 so it is not ranked among physical therapy programs. That being said, almost 700 students applied to the program for the 42 slots. All of classes at Wingate are in the same building for all three years. The building has lockers and study lounges... I love the fact that I went to a small school. The professors were wonderful. They were always willing to help after class. The small class size is great, because it makes learning more personal.
